Spent 1 yr at this campground and this is by far the best campground in Cape! Lots are spacious, staff are always going above and beyond the standard, their onsite facilities are always clean/maintained and well lit. While the laundry area is on the smaller side we never had issues waiting to use machines or seen them broke down. The grounds are very well maintained and they respect night shift workers when doing tasks around your lot. Even the trash dumpster is located in a centralized area but not so crowded you hear the company emptying it. The dog area is very clean and well lit for night time hours. The roads are paved and well maintained for walking with strict speed limit enforcement for safety. When a tree next to our lot stated showing signs of dangerous breaking they immediately handled the situation by asking that we switch to a different lot while the tree was removed. Worked with our work schedule on the moving back to our lot and the entire area was well cleaned up from debris, ground was not left rutted/tore up etc. Office staff always smiling and going above expectations be it simple tasks like propane refill needs, holding packages, or just chatting. After hours number was always answered when needed used. Text reminders were sent for various campground related info which was great as night shifters or notes were secured to rig doors for things like major grounds work scheduled/winterizing water heads/etc. Very little traffic noise from the surrounding road. Close to town and things to do but hidden in a quaint valley-esque residential area. Host events, their halloween decorating was amazingly group oriented and lots of fun. 100/10 will recommend and return anytime we stay in the cape area.

We just spent three wonderful nights at The Landing Point, and we loved it! 💕 It’s such a quiet, clean, and well-kept campground — the kind of place that makes you instantly relax. Our pull-through site #69 was super easy to get into and had plenty of space. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next adventure!

The good. Friendly helpful office staff. Nice manicured park. Reasonable showers. Good laundry facilities. Close to historic Cape Girardeau. The bad. The trash truck empties the single dumpster every other morning at 3am. First time sounded like a car crash. Most of the sites furthest from the dumpster appear to be long term residents with arrays of against the park rules yard art. Our immediate "neighbor" had a wagon wheel, scare crow, several potted plants, garden flags, shepherds hooks, bird baths and 10 bird feeders all near our electric/water/sewer hooks. The constant bird traffic left a mess on our rig. And then the gardeners arrived. The mower made three passes through our site spraying wet grass on the side of our rig. For some reason, they shoved our $300 electric cord and hose into the septic connection area. They then mowed more wet sticky grass over the cord and hose. Perryville Road sounds like a drag strip at all hours. Lots of apparent full timers going to work in the am. And lots of empty rvs stored within the park. Fine for a brief stay but was not relaxing for us.

The staff is friendly the camp sites are easy to get to, The Dog park though really needs mowing. I liked they supply doggy bags but i saw some evidence that most dont use them , I have a small dog its difficult for him to get around and i was concerned about critters with the grass so high, snakes like to be hidden, Grass is high around other camp sites as well. . It was quiet and peaceful , easy to get to. It could be 5 star if grass wasn’t such a problem. Update —- Dog park is being mowed. And the other parts around the campus. Though still needs weed eating.

This is a great place! I lived here for a little while and it was just so fun, don’t forget to go check out the creek, if you don’t know where it is it’s at the back and there is a path down! I reccomend going up the cliff by the creek (not rock climbing, there is a slope to get up) it is really beautiful, the water has some weird white foam in it I didn’t touch but other than that it was a great experience
