We had a great stay at The Nugget RV Resort. We were there 4-10 May 2025. Matt & Sarah were excellent hosts. Plenty to do with trails to walk and games to play. The pool was just getting opened for the season. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The only issue is the resort's proximity to I-90. You can hear the traffic noise over the quiet of the resort. This is not a deal breaker though. The resort itself is a wonderful place. We'll try and get back along our travels.

Hidden gem, looks like it is close to the freeway and train but it's not. No traffic noise. Sites are clean and all the hookups were well taken care of. Loved the trail system for exploring, they also had a frisbee golf course and pickleball. Will be back.

This place was BREATH TAKING! Big rig friendly and easy access off the highway. We stayed for one night and we’re on Site #6 which was right in front of the wood swing which had such a BEAUTIFUL Mountain View! Also, such a cute campground with the little mining town which you’ll see as you pull into the resort. Highly recommend! We will absolutely visit again if we’re in this area again! Thank

We LOVED this place! We stayed only one night on our way to Yellowstone but wanted to stay longer. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and the service all around was amazing. We LOVED having a concrete pad to set our trailer up on and the full hookups were great. We chose a sunset view spot and view was just amazing. Even with the freeway (and evidently train tracks) being nearby, the house wasn’t bothersome and we slept great. The park’s amenities and grounds were amazing. We loved the feel, all of the log cabin style buildings, the pool, corn hole game and walking trails. Our favorite part, however, was Molle, the camp dog! She was SO sweet! Thank you for an amazing stay, we hope to come back and stay for a while. We just loved it there!

First RV trip of the year (Memorial day weekend) and the Nugget has the amenities to accommodate. Heated pool, large dog park and awesome staff. They had a Bigfoot hunt and we won a hat! I think our family is going to make this a yearly trip. Don't forget to go to town for the annual flea market!

Stayed 2 nights. Great place , lots of trails clean restrooms, pedestals are in good shape. Neighbors and staff were all friendly and the park has a good layout , easy to navigate when pulling in/out. Only reason it's not 5 star is the wifi.

This place is awesome. Our family will be planning a trip here every year. The staff treats us like family. Love the trails and wildlife.

Beautiful, clean and super friendly staff. Only spent the night, wish we could have stayed longer. 👍

****BEWARE WHEN BOOKING!!!! This RV park will seriously nickel & dime you. When I made a 2 day reservation for 2 sites , they make you pay extra for kids, pets, breathing, etc. They even want you to pay an additional $20 per site to "lock in" you reserved site. What!? So the site you booked/reserved will be swapped around the park where they see fit unless you pay another $20 to secure your site- not a big deal unless you have more than one site. The also mention that there will be a fee charged for any cancellation, but it never mentions how much. This turns our to be another $30 per site ($60 in total, just to cancel). Our booking was until mid June (4 months away), which is plenty of time to get this site booked without any problem. I think this is just bad business. If they want to charge you a cancelation fee then they should at least specify how much it will be. I will never book again with this RV park and I would encourage you to think long and hard before you book here. I found a great RV park ( Blue Anchor RV park) that's closer to the Hiawatha bike trail, is easy to book with if you just email them, and will not charge you for every little thing. I hope this was helpful to someone out there. I have since read other reviews where people had similar issues with canceling, I only wish that I would have seen them before I made my booking. Lesson learned.Good Luck and happy camping!
