We had a good stay. The office workers were very friendly ,helpful quick to respond to any questions. The place could not be more convenient to 95. Easy on and off. We loved the lake. Seen some 🐊,🐢, cool looking birds šŸ¦… heading to Florida for the winter . We will be back on our way back home in PA in the spring time. Definitely recommend this place

This campground is conveniently located off of the highway however the flooding and mud pit is crazy. Check in was easy and the person working was amazing. The campground could use some tlc. Nothing some extra earth and gravel to build it up would not fix. The only perk the lake. What a beautiful walking path it has. Place was quiet and those that stay there full time or seasonal were super nice. Good for a one night hit but not sure I would again just due to the flooding and mud.

This is a great campground, just far enough away from the interstate you didn't hear it all night. When our travel day was disrupted by a blowout on I95, our planned 4 pm arrival turned into 11 pm. Beth and Kathy were super helpful, moving us to a pull through site (before we arrived - they texted us a few times to check and see if we were ok) to make it easier in the dark. They also accommodated our request to stay an extra night to rest up. The grounds are well kept, plenty of room on the sites, and there is a clubhouse/activity center with events and a gathering place. We would definitely stay again! Full hookups worked well.

We stayed at the Oaks in a motorhome. This is a terrific RV Resort but there are also cabins and tent sites. Nice layout and roomy enough. Full hookups with good water pressure. The restrooms were used were very clean. Trees everywhere for really good shade in lots of sites. Very helpful and friendly stuff. They checked on us a bit to make sure everything was good. We didn't get a chance this time to walk around but last time we were here, we walked around a bunch and enjoyed the grounds. St Augustine is not far at all. Last time we were here at Christmas and went to St Augustine for the Christmas lights. Flagler Beach is also pretty close. All in all, a great place to stay that we plan to come back for a longer stay.

Our first trip with Thousand Trails and if every campground is run as efficiently and as nicely as this one I'll be very happy. There were activities for the kids and the grounds were neat. We were on a site and had no close neighbors so that was great. Enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!!

We called prior to arrival today to clarify directions. Call went to voice mail and despite leaving a message, no return call was made. When we arrived, the gentleman was sitting on a stool reading. When I mentioned that we had called to verify directions, he said he was much too busy to answer the phone or to return messages. It was 12:45 and he seemed displeased that we arrived early although there were no other campers waiting to check in. My husband walked in with our little dog and was immediately told that dogs weren’t allowed in the clubhouse. ( our mistake). He then gave us our site and directions. The pool wasn’t Open, the main restroom by the club house was closed for renovations. He did point out that there were walking paths by the lake. When we walked down to it, the railing on a ā€œbridgeā€ was either rotted or non existent, and I nearly fell due to two rotten boards on the bridge…I didn’t go any further so who knows what was further along. Our site has an infestation of caterpillars. The campground employee just stated that was the way it is. We’re not looking forward to taking them home with us. The putt putt coarse is terrible and unplayable. Rotten wood on the shelter house. For the price we paid for this ā€œresortā€, we could’ve done much better at a KOA or similar campground. Thinking of becoming a Member? I’d seriously reconsider.

Came in after the office was closed, picked up our paperwork outside, with easy directions to our site, it was level and easy to set up. We took a walk around after dark. It's a small campground, found a cute pavilion with a gas fireplace, grill, smoker, and set up for showing movies, nice seating under and outside of the pavilion. We also noticed areas with new gravel and piles of gravel along the edges of the campground. It's low county as many know and they did have a rain storm before we came in with some standing water here and there but it looks like the campground has and is prepared to deal with standing water problems. The pool was closed, and covered, kind of surprised about that but at least the cover was new and not a hazard as we have seen at other TT campgrounds. My take is this campground is moving up. Thanks for the nice overnight stay. We will stay in the future if we have plans to visit locally.

The management is stupid and pathetic. I booked an overnight for my 30 foot class C. I arrived in my 30 foot coach towing a 15 foot box trailer full of valuables and upon arrival was advised my trailer could not come into the campground. I asked the person where to park the trailer and she pointed to an unsecured area outside the campground gate and said ā€œover thereā€. The over there area was not secured or lighted and there were no other vehicles or trailers parked there. I turned around and continued on my trip later stopped at a Cracker Barrel had a good rest and nice breakfast in the morning. I am pretty sure the smucks that run this joint would have denied any responsibility had I parked my trailer outside the campground and it was stolen or broken into. You decide if these clowns deserve your business.

Don’t expect World Class Customer service here! If you are traveling with a group or, in our case, another couple don’t bother requesting side-by-side or back-to-back sites. Barry seldom answers the phone or returns phone calls when you try to call in advance. He will not accommodate you and feels the need to educate you as to rig size for adjacent sites. The pull through sites are very nearly the same size with large and small rigs side-by-side. Our site was muddy but according to Barry it was one of the best in the park. Beware of staying here if you expect the kind of service and hospitality of a KOA or a Good Sam park.
