This well-established park is famous for its dense canopy of mature valley oak trees that provide essential relief during the warm California summers. Location & Surroundings

Located in Orland, California, the park is positioned perfectly for those traveling the I-5 corridor between Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The surrounding Glenn County landscape is characterized by its agricultural heritage, with beautiful almond and walnut orchards stretching across the horizon. This location offers the dual benefit of easy highway accessibility and a quiet, rural setting that highlights the natural beauty of the Central Valley.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is specifically engineered for convenience, offering large pull-through sites that easily accommodate big rigs and multi-vehicle setups. Guests can enjoy a wide array of high-quality facilities, including a seasonal swimming pool and a unique on-site wine shop featuring local California labels. Additional amenities include a dedicated pet-friendly dog park, updated laundry facilities, clean private showers, and a well-stocked general store providing gifts and RV essentials.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is never far away, as the park is situated near Black Butte Lake, which is a popular destination for fishing, hiking, and boating. Birdwatchers and nature photographers frequently visit the nearby Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge to witness the spectacular seasonal migrations. For those seeking faster-paced entertainment, the Thunderhill Raceway Park is just a short drive away, while the vibrant college town of Chico offers additional dining and shopping options.

We have been traveling for 2 months and had great experiences with all locations. This place was amazing with all the rules and coin operated showers along with attitude. We were to arrive an hour early and due to the site being watered we were asked to go have lunch because they couldn’t find anyone to move the water. The attitude was a bit confusing and we were willing to pay the $20 early arrival fee. So we just kept on driving for another 2 hours to Lodi and found a great place with free showers, coffee and super nice people. Really sad when it is 106 degrees out traveling with dogs and all you want to do is get settled and you’re told to go have lunch. I would keep driving if I were you I did.

This park is beautiful and perfect for an over night stay. It’s close to I5, fuel and awesome taco trucks. I loved hearing the faint sound of neighbors roosters. My surge protector was reading an error on the electrical box and the staff was there in minutes to check it out. Would definitely stay here again!!!

RV park in Orlando CA. Easy on and off the highway but far enough not to have highway sounds and traffic. Big level park with some shade. Stayed one night and didn’t use restrooms, but park was clean and well maintained.

We needed a place to stop on our way home and booked this spot after hours. The booking was super easy online. We came in in the middle of the night and left in the morning so we weren't able to check out any amenities but the park was clean. We would definitely stay there again when passing through

Stayed at this RV park with our 23' travel trailer and couldn't be more pleased with the large, level, treed, with grass, semi private sites. Bathrooms & Showers were very clean and well located. Would stay again hands down.
