That's too bad for the other people that gave it a 1 star review because of the wrong timing and the heat but anyway we had quite a pleasant experience on the other hand. Oh yes! when we got in our cabin have air conditioning and our cabin smells so nice, fresh and welcoming. Thanks Emily :) We booked on the 2nd week of September for 2 nights and had a great time enjoying the scenic view of the Columbia Valley. We rented 2 cabins, one cabin for me and my wife. One for my brother, his son and my older brother who flew 14 hours from the far east just to see beautiful BC. We drove all the way out here from Vancouver to celebrate his 70th birthday and to take him around Banff for some sight seeing. I thought Raven's Nest would be a real Canadian experience as I wanted him to experience the back country and for him to see how vast our land in Canada is. It is the perfect place! I thought it is a good way to show how proud I am to be a Canadian. The cabins are quite comfortable although I would say that the sleeping area upstairs is not well designed for tall people as I am short at 5'5" and just barely make it to walk to my bed. There are 2 queen beds at the loft which I think is not a good idea because you can hit your head on one of those log supporting the roof. I say 1 queen should be good. Then the other bed should be like a sofa coach downstairs. Well, to say the least those queen beds are still good especially for us who is out all day on a road trip to Banff. We just need a comfy bed to sleep on and a place to make food, bbq some steaks, have a campfire, have some drinks and enjoy the evening watching the never ending train go by miles away. They actually look like toys. I thought my grandkids would love this place. As far as for the BBQ grills outside, I think they should be maintained properly after each customer stay. Like the underneath of the grill should be cleared and cleaned at every stay because there are so much crud. I almost burnt my AAA steaks for the birthday celebration evening as I was grilling on high temp to make medium rear steaks. I went inside to get something and when I came back the grill was on fire inside. Luckily I was able to pull them out right away but that was a little nerve wrecking as I watch my food almost go into waste. Anyways, I still love the place. It's so peacefull and serene. It is actually majestic! My wife and my brothers really enjoyed our stay here. I was going to give a 4 star for the little things but I really appreciate what the owners have done to start Raven's Nest. I am sure there will be more updates in the near future but I would say keep it up & going. Kudos to you both Faro & Emily and good luck on your new baby!

We did tent camping, there were a few spots that were for tents only which was great. Beautiful view. A lot of space and amazing view. Seems that they just installed flush toilets and showers (with coins). A great last minute find, a hidden germ of private campgrounds. Provincial and national park campgrounds were full, so we were lucky to stumble upon this campground, great price of 30cad for one tent.

This place is absolutely magical! The cabins have strong working AC & fans for those hot summer days! The views were immaculate and the staff were friendly and accommodating! The cabins were super clean and comfortable and the BBQ was a great added bonus as well! I can't wait to come back to the beautiful spot!

We were really looking forward to this two night stay as a place to end our month long Canada trip, but unfortunately our cabin “Cedar” had a mouse infestation. The first night they tore through sealed bread bags and pooped on our produce. The second night we didn’t leave any food on the counters and took out all our trash, however they still pooped all over. Could hear squeaking all night from the bed and also got some scratches on our bags. Owners tried to help (which was really nice) by placing traps and more poison but no luck. After our first night we checked reviews on Booking.com and saw reviews of mice in one of the cabins from a few days and a week before our arrival. It would have been a nice idea to have a storage food box or a warning of some kind to know there’s a possibility of mice in the cabin. We understand we’re in nature and anything can happen, but we were in nature this entire trip and never had mice entering our cabins/cottages. Other than that, our last night we didn’t have running water for a while, which can happen, but was rather annoying. It wasn’t all bad - it’s a beautiful spot overlooking the valley. We got a warm welcome upon arrival, and accessibility to firewood was nice since you can buy directly from the owners. BBQ was very much used which was nice. All in all, if there were no mice issues this place would have a 5 star review from us. Unfortunately, the situation really took over our whole stay, leaving us feeling like we could have spent our money elsewhere since it wasn’t super cheap. Unfortunate end to our trip, but life goes on!

An unforgettable experience! The cabin was beautifully designed and exceeded all expectations. Surrounded by breathtaking views, it offered a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Our family had an amazing time soaking it all in — coffee with a view, stories by the fire, and that magical feeling of escape. The staff were absolutely wonderful, making our stay even more special. We’ll definitely be back!

I had the most amazing time staying here! The campground itself is huge. I stayed in one of the log cabins that over looks the wetlands and the view was absolutely amazing! There are picnic tables and fire pits outside each cabin and the cabins themselves are fully equipped with cooking gear, a mini fridge, and a bbq. Emily and Faro were amazing hosts. They are the kindest friendliest people and made sure everything was perfect! 11/10 would recommend!

Stumbled upon this campground when we unexpectedly got stuck in Fairmont recently. This campground was soooo nice we just had to stay an extra night, and even then, nobody wanted to leave. Great prices, well maintained, the owners are friendly, super chill, absolutely gorgeous place. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed playing on the playground and the games center was fun for the whole family. Can't wait to come back sometime!!

We stayed in the clean and comfortable Larch cabin for the September long weekend. The location is beautiful and very relaxing. The campground owners Faro and Emily (including their fur babies Ricky & Chico) were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended
