Situated directly on the fairgrounds property, this facility serves as a convenient base for travelers exploring the North Bay. It offers a straightforward camping experience for those who prioritize location and accessibility over resort-style luxuries.
Location & Surroundings
Located just off Interstate 80, the park is positioned in a bustling area of Vallejo. The most notable neighbor is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, which is within walking distance or a very short drive. Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure seekers will appreciate being minutes away from the roller coasters and animal exhibits at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. For a more relaxed pace, the Vallejo Ferry Terminal provides a scenic commute across the bay to San Francisco. Wine enthusiasts can reach the world-renowned vineyards of Napa and Sonoma in under thirty minutes. Additionally, the nearby Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve offers hiking trails and historic sites for those interested in local maritime history and outdoor exploration.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for short-term travelers and families visiting the nearby theme park who need a dependable place to park their rig. It is a great fit for on-the-go RVers who plan to spend their days exploring the Bay Area rather than lounging at a campsite. Because of its centralized location, it also serves as a strategic stopover for road trippers navigating the corridor between Sacramento and the coast who require easy highway access and full utility support.

10-12-25 today is the last day of the Goth Show, it definitely was a good turn out and many different cool items to buy for gifts or yourself. Many people dressed up. 6-14-2024 this yr it's better and about double in size. More rides and food and items to pick from. 2023 It was sweet and small. Hardly anyone there today during the afternoon. There's more rides for smaller children than adults. Plenty of foods to pick from. For me the best part was the farm animals baby zoo petting. And the Solano County SWAT vehicle on display. I understand that they want to discontinue our fair and unfortunately I can understand why, at least today hardly anyone was there and the vendor's are very few. What happened? Vallejo has grown, Solano County has grown and our fair is getting smaller. If more people showed up to support our fair it would be a lot better. Right now there's no lines for anything. In the 60s and 70s it was a lot larger and a lot more to do.

Easy to get to from the south bay using MAPS, 680 north to 780 north. Another 6 miles or so north. Took the offramp and crossed back over the freeway. Then paralleled the freeway on a very uneven road to the next signal light. They had road construction going on there. Right turn and I was in the parking lot. I went there for a trade show so I only saw one of the halls, none of the other parts. Parked out front in an unmarked dirt lot. There was an unmarked driveway to the right that led to a paved lot next to this hall (note for when it rains and you don't want get your car muddy). Parking was free.

If you happen to visit there... Don't leave anything in any of their buildings... You will never get it back. I worked a gun show there... I left a cell phone charger and cordless charging base... I called twice, spoke to a person both times, and left my phone number, attempting to retrieve my property... No one ever called me back... Just horrible customer service... Somebody at the gun show actually collected this item up for me and brought it to the next gun show. I was able to get it back. But the fairgrounds did not help whatsoever.

Not really that fun and EXTREMELY expensive, parking $15, adult $10, kid $8 and then when you're inside you have to BUY TICKETS for the rides or $35 for an unlimited wristband...there's only 11 janky rides in the whole fair and many of them were down while we were there. I saw workers taking pieces from one ride and attaching it to another...seemed unsafe. Taking 3 kids here really drained my fun money for the month. Food wasn't good. Only things I enjoyed were the live animals and live music....but I won't be going back ever. There's way better county fairs.
