Nice place. Quiet. Lots of wildlife. Nice bike trail. Clean showers and laundry facility. We would stay there again.

Tried to get a campsite here. The lady in the office was not friendly at all. Wouldn’t let us rent a full hook up site she said we couldn’t with our van. Told us that we couldn’t sleep in our van at a tent site either. Told her that we have a tent she said that she didn’t have any available. They are 1st come 1st serve tent sites after 1pm we were there at 1pm. I have never felt so unwelcome at a campground before this encounter.

Mary and Wendy in the office are fantastic at what they do! Friendly and caring. We are coming back in May to stay for a while. I can’t remember nicer staff at any place else we stayed. Dealing with them is a pleasure.

This place was a nice, cheap place to rest for the night on our way south. It is a little hard to get to this destination, I imagine it would be hard with a big rig to get through downtown to this location. Beware of alligators and snakes here. There were showers and laundry facilities available here. A huge area for dogs to play. There was also some trails around the campground to explore. It only cost us about 28$ to stay the night which is reasonable. The campsites are very close to each other so you are right next to all your neighbors which is unfortunate sometimes! But overall a nice place to stay.

We absolutely loved this place!!! It was a hidden gem. Reasonable, clean, friendly and even saw a few baby alligators. We felt very safe and loved the area, one of the better parks we've been to on our trip across the country.
