We have family that came there and so i tagged along for 5 days and had the best time ever ! The owners are extremely welcoming as well as many of the seasonals i met !! Was a very fun time had ! Will for sure be back !!!

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home – Year After Year The Twisted Root RV Park is truly our home away from home. We’re proud to be going into our fourth season here, and we genuinely couldn’t imagine spending our camping months anywhere else. What started as a recommendation from a fellow camper quickly became our favorite spot — and we haven’t looked back since. We’ve camped at many places over the years, both transient and seasonal, but none have held our hearts the way Twisted Root has. The atmosphere here is unmatched — a perfect blend of peaceful relaxation and vibrant community. Brad and Hilary, the owners, are the heart and soul of the park. They’re not only incredibly hands-on, helpful, and handy, but also personable, fun, and full of spirit. Their involvement creates a sense of connection that you don’t often find elsewhere. Whether it’s the delicious food being cooked up in the kitchen, the endless list of exciting events, or the stunning beach that brings everyone together — there’s always something happening here. The campground community is full of welcoming, down-to-earth people who quickly become like family. Twisted Root isn’t just a campground. It’s a vibe, it’s a community, it’s a lifestyle. If you’re looking for your next favorite place to park it, this is where you want to be.

We visited my brother in law here. It seemed like a really nice place to be to get away from the city. My brother in law was having problems with his bathroom in his trailer so we walked to the site washrooms. Along the way we encountered a lose aggressive dog. Its a very large dog and s/he would growl and approach us with his/her hackles up. I asked my brother in law about this dog and am told its the owners dog. I'm not worried about it - I can handle myself. I am concerned about small children and this angry dog. So I wouldn't recommend bringing your small children or pets here.

Great community, great lots and amazing owner. I stop by my buddys lot of off roading and its great you can drive right from the lot!

Great camp ground with some large sites. If you like quadding then this is a good home base. Owners do a really good job and are very personable! Our goal is to get a permanent site!

This place features an amazing man made beach. Restaurant on site. I belive they have a wing night as well. Looks amazing. and the owners are down to earth.
