Location & Surroundings

Situated just east of Kenora at Longbow Lake, the park is conveniently located right off the Trans-Canada Highway, making it an easy stop for cross-country travelers. Really nice place, entrance is beautiful scenery which led to a conversation about hikes in the area. If I wasn’t walking so much during the day this definitely would be a hike I would enjoy checking out. It’s a beautiful campground, quiet, clean with owners that are welcoming and very helpful. This is a true gem, a hidden oasis, Ontario’s treasure

Bill was a real help when I needed a campsite last minute this long weekend. The place is lovely!

The first time we stayed here, several years ago, we thought this was a nice charming little park. That has changed so much, to our great dismay! We just stayed one night of the July long weekend, 2025. Very unhappy. We will not return. Multiple piles of dog poop, garbage in the firepit, unmowed grass, and cigarette butts in our site. More dog poop and butts on the lawn outside the washrooms. The ladies washroom had two toilets and two sinks ( not cleaned) and an almost full can of garbage. Both shower stalls and one toilet were "out of order." A very far walk ( too far for us) found another wash house with ONE shower stall and 2 toilets. And another dirty floor and full garbage can. The ( new?) sani dump pipe is too small to insert a standard rv dump hose into. My spouse had to hold the end against the pipe to dump our tank. Very poor construction. We can not recommend this place. We will not return.

Stayed last night. Quiet green campsite. Manager friendly. Clean wash rooms and laundry facilities. Good value for over night free camping. Would recommend and return again.
