Nice spot, more affordable than most places with full hookups and this level of beach access. It’s a bit minimalist looking, but don’t be put off by that, would absolutely stay here again.

This is, hands down, my favorite campground that I've ever stayed at. I hadn't car camped in a while, because I got tired of cramped, loud, dirty campgrounds. This place is none of that. It was clean, quiet at night, and there was lots of foliage between the tent sites, so it felt private. It also has direct access to the beach. The guy who runs the place is friendly and takes really good care of the grounds. There is a bathroom with showers, a place to do dishes, and a place for trash. Highly recommend!

Excellent campground with private beach access! We stayed in our campervan and the spots were spacious and not crowded at all. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The outside shower was convenient for rinsing our feet and shoes. The staff at checkin were very friendly and welcoming. Overall a great stop on our road trip! Pet friendly but needs to be leashed in the campground area.

I would love to tell you this is a safe and understanding space to bring yourself and your families, however I would be doing you and honesty in general grossly wrong. The owner of this site refuses to allow service animals of “certain breeds” who are federally REQUIRED to be given access because their insurance “doesn’t cover them”. The breed is NOT a valid excuse to refuse access, furthermore any and ALL breeds of service animals should be covered under their insurance, as if they are ever attacked on their campground, that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. I have attached proof from the ADA.gov website stating that gross injustice is being handed out left and right by this owner. 🤮

Excellent campground at Copalis Beach. Our favorite place to go when we're at the ocean. Excellent location for razor clam digging when Copalis has a dig. Beach access from the campground with a trail marker on the beach that makes it easy to find the trail back after you've gotten your razor clam limit.

Have stayed here many times with my wife and 3 kids and our dogs. We have so many great memories here. Its been a few years but have always had a great time. Pulling up to the campground it looks a little run down but its always been an amazing time at the beach here.

Tidelands had great easy access to the beach via a 5 minute stroll (which was very scenic). The campground was clean and the bathrooms were well maintained. During our stay the staff were always a genuine joy to talk with, exceptionally helpful, and even generous when we purchased firewood later than we should have. I can't say too many nice things about the place, highly recommend!

Camp sites were a bit dirty. Lots of garbage pieces, broken glass in one spot and also in one of the fire pits. It's very close to the beach so there's sand everywhere. I mean everywhere. Port-a-potties available for a quick break, but there was also a bathroom with running water, real toilets and coin operated showers. Didn't seem like there were big critters around, but a loaf of bread we forgot to put away got chomped by something. Could have been crows or seagulls. The beach was about 1/4 of a mile walk down a path with a rickety bridge saying "use at your own risk". That was concerning. The manager guy was really rude to my family members who came to visit during our trip. Didn't allow them to come see us and basically interrogated them, even though we told this manager they were expected and given the okay when we checked in. Overall, run down and dirty. The only redeeming quality was that it was cheap and available only 6 weeks in advance rather than a full year. Three guesses why.
