This is an absolutely beautiful campground(we are at campsite 17 until July13th). Management gave us a card welcoming us when we arrived. As someone with agoraphobia, I have a tough time going outside to thank the staff for the kindness and beauty of what we are experiencing but we love it here. The wildlife we get to experience is amazing. The only "downfall" is we can't stay longer than 14 days. Like I have said, this place is beautiful and the staff have done everything to make sure we are extremely happy with our experience. We will DEFINITELY be back here.

Nice spacious, quiet equestrian campground with 37 camp sites, two different restroom buildings, a dining hall, and pavilion that are for rent for group events. The road to Tillis is now paved. This place has a lot to offer for horses and riders. Many beautiful trails around the campground. There are 36 stalls for the horses and 3 turn-out areas to let them graze for an hour. Sawdust/wood shavings are provided. There are 4 horse was stations to hose off your horse after a ride.

This is an equestrian campground. Lots of hiking paths as well as horse trails. The camping lots were spacious.

Nice hilly area, which might surprise if you, that's Florida. They have power and water hookups for your RV or LQ. The stables are really nice and easy to access/ use.

Very nice trails and the campground is very quiet and peaceful.
Real Deal
Camp is not maintained at all. Bathrooms are dirty, trash not removed, weeds in the campsites not mowed. The camp host is very rude and constantly shows up to spy on you instead of working. He seems like an old busy body type who thinks the public property is his personal fiefdom. Creepy feel overall go elsewhere.

Wonderful place. Super nice park ranger helped get my car running. Very clean and has cell service.

Beware: no walk up reservations accepted. You’ll have to navigate a complex, arduous website on your phone to reserve a spot. And it will cost you $6 on top of the $22 fee. If you survive that, it’s a nice campground. Lots of oaks and Spanish moss, and good birding. I saw: Eastern Bluebird Tufted Titmouse Red Bellied Woodoecker Cardinal And there are stalls where you can pet horses. The hosts we’re helpful.
