Duke Little

There is nothing more American then camping. This. Place has it all a nice facility options for all ages and just a bunch of great people basically out doing the same thing you will be doin, trying to relax. Did you definitely have place to put on your go hang out and enjoy list. This place definitely gets the A+...

This is our first year here as seasonal campers, the park is absolutely beautiful, management is amazing and those guys know how to run a campgrounds. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. We definitely found our home away from home.

We spent the weekend here for the first time this weekend, at one of the primative tent sites. It was close enough to the on site facilities but also far enough not to be too disturbed by the still very full rv park! The owner greeted us and helped us through check in and was super friendly. My only regret was not discovering this lovely campground when the pool was still open! Despite that, all the kids had fun fishing and "roughing it" and they especially liked hiking along the ridge near our campsite. Price was reasonable and we will definitely come back "in season".

We had reservations for the tent spot on the hill, we were told that it is 2 tent sites and that another family would be up there. Ok cool. We got there and the other family had spread out their camping things to take over the whole hill. Timashamie was able to give us another spot in a place they called 'the cove'. It was nice being back so far from other campers. It kinda sucks that it's basically right next to the road (just a hill separated tent sites from the road). we had a good time

Memorial Day Sunday and Timashamie was packed to the brim with people. A lot of griping about the $5 a head entry fee for guests. But there was noise and chaos, dogs and kids, music and noise everywhere. Day rentals slots are being converted to long term leases. The only complaints about services was low electrical power (brown outs) when the park was full. I also noticed a crop duster applying chemicals on a field one half mile away. I hope the prevailing wind was away.

This is by far the best campground in the area. Very friendly owner. Lots of activities that other campgrounds have seemed to forgotten about. Very friendly fellow campers. Vickie runs an excellant fun retreat.

Ownership is terrible. Extremely rude and not in the least bit classy. There are many decent campgrounds in the area and this is not one of them. Go elsewhere.

Love the pool! We don't camp, ever, but live nearby and love the large, clean and well maintained facilities!

No Business

Was a fun weekend loved watching the kids flying kites and the family atmosphere up until we had someone from back side going around taking pictures of all the cars in extra parking including ours. Was taking license plates and interiors. Was gonna inform the managment but it was late and no one in office. Talked to a couple campers on that side of park and was informed they do this every weekend! Kinda scary!
