We love this campground so much ! We’ve come here the past 3 years and we have such wonderful memories. It’s a back-in-the day camping experience. Family owned - and they are amazing. Campers are friendly. Super safe for kids to run around and play. The lake is so warm (and not too deep) so you can swim in it. You can rent paddle boards, kayaks etc. Can’t say enough great things about Timber Surf !

It's a wonderful campground! The owners are so helpful and kind. There is a camp store for anything you may have forgotten. The lake is beautiful and fishing appears to be good. The campground is off the beaten path, but it is easy to get to town. We always enjoy our stay in Timber Surf.

Awesome little spot! Quiet, friendly and nestled off the beaten path. If you’re looking to get away, this is a spot. Not gonna lie, amenities could use a little updating, clean, just very old school. Reminds me of a fishing camp I used to go to with my Great Uncle in the 70’s and early 80’s. Good people, very friendly and family centric. Can’t do 5 stars cause of the amenities being so old, but that aside a definite 5 star

Absolutely one of my favorite camping spots!! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, sites are enjoyable, bathrooms are clean [a must], the fish bite with a great cleaning station and we always seem to make new friends each year with the fellow campers. We always make a trip into Luddington a couple times during our stay but spend most of our days floating at the clean Timbersurf lake/beach area. Love when we get blessed with an appearance from the Bald Eagles too while kyaking on Round Lake!! Breathtaking!! Hope your stay is as enjoyable as ours over the past 20+ years!!
