Timberland Acres RV Park in Trenton, Maine, is the unicorn of campgrounds—everything you want, nothing you don’t, and a side of lobster that’ll make you question why you ever bothered with fast food. We rolled in with our big rig and slid into one of their massive pull-through, full-hookup sites like it was a greased slip-n-slide—over 100 feet of pure, level bliss. No unhitching yoga required, just plug in and kick back with 50-amp service that could power a small circus. The Tavern? Oh, honey, it’s a hidden gem that deserves its own billboard. The food’s so good I’d fight a bear for the last bite—think juicy burgers, fresh catches, and drinks so tasty I’m pretty sure they’re spiked with Acadia magic. Then there’s the outdoor heated pool—perfect for pretending you’re a fancy resort guest while cannonballing like a kid who just discovered gravity. It’s warm, it’s refreshing, and it’s a splashy good time. Our pup gave two paws up to the large dog park—plenty of room to zoom, sniff, and make questionable life choices with new furry friends. Meanwhile, the owners, Colton and Morgan, are the real MVPs. Friendly? They’re the kind of folks who’d lend you their last marshmallow and still smile about it. Professional? They run this place tighter than a clam at low tide, all while making you feel like family—minus the awkward holiday arguments. This isn’t just an RV park; it’s a vibe. If you’re near Acadia and don’t stay here, you’re basically choosing sadness. Five stars, no notes—except maybe bring stretchy pants for the Tavern.

Timberland RV Park was a great park. Large spaces, full hookups, a good size dog park/ play area. Close to everything, very convenient. Park managers and all staff were great. They have an awesome Tavern right on site which is very convenient and the bartenders were great. Propane, Ice and firewood available on site. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and have already recommended it to others.

This place is just too big and kind of noisy with all the people and dogs. Lots of carts buzzing around day and night. Not the best place for kids to be playing or riding bikes. Only one bathroom so it can be a 15 minute walk each way depending where your site is. Lots of "developed" sites which we really don't care for. More like being in a mobile home park than a campground. Great location for accessing Acadia NP, Bar Harbor and surrounding area though.

Quiet, spacious RV Park 20 minutes from Acadia, Maine. Office staff warm, friendly and accommodating. we had to add 2 more weeks to our stay and the office staff assisted. Most sites are pull through, 80-100 feet long, definitely Big Rig friendly. Saturday was 2 hours of music, outdoors, band was incredible. Bingo and kids games this week too! Love this place, very relaxing, we will be back.

This park is an absolute gem for big rigs. The pull through sites are very long. The park is very well kept and the staff was very friendly. AT&T cell service is 1-2 bars but still useable. Turning left out of the park can be tricky with lots of traffic coming from Acadia/Bar Harbor. Very close to town for groceries and supplies if needed. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Bingo night was a mess, the staff never brought my my dentures so I was forced to make my 84 year old husband chew my food for me. Once bingo was called, the obese woman in the thigh highs and red satin dress threw her pea soup all over the crowd in excitement. The owner (a God loving Christian deciple) send me my dentures when they drained out the punch bowl. The owner is good but not so good maybe go elsewhere.

Timberland Acres the place to stay while visiting Acadia, 15 minutes away. Office staff great, check in quick and was given very nice welcome info package. Site was 100 feet by 40 feet pull in, very large picnic table. Nice fire pit. Sites are immaculate, very quiet at night. Will be back. Very beautiful area.

This is a very nice park. Quiet at night unlike some parks that have someone who inevitably ignores quiet time and is obnoxiously loud. Lots are closer together but very long. They moved us after first night as well as our first night neighbor and 4 others I counted. (No reason for it). We ended up on a site that was over the septic tanks and every now and then, you got "the smell" in the RV. They should eliminate the 2 sites by this or seal the lids better. 5 stars if we didn't have to deal with it.
