Our family with two kids (ages 6 and 8) stayed at Timberline for the afternoon and night on a Saturday. We chose Timberline because of how close it is to Vibrant Music Hall - just a three minute drive away! We initially booked a primitive cabin - no heat, no bathroom. But when we checked in, Marta upgraded us to a fancy cabin at no extra charge!!! AMAZING! Marta and her staff truly care about their guests and want them to have a fun experience. Our kids loved Timberline, especially Myrtle the Turtle. There was also a little Halloween Carnival and pretty decent Haunted House. It seems like Timberline puts on a lot of fun activities throughout the year and it's obvious that the owners take pride in what they are doing. I highly recommend Timberline!!!

Our family had the best time at Timberline! The cabin we stayed in was very clean. The staff we interacted with were all so helpful and kind. The kids loved the haunted house and all the fun Halloween activities. It was such a special weekend and we look forward to coming back again! Such a great place!

Timberline Staff and Ownership go above and beyond to help their guests have a great time! The campground is so peaceful and quiet yet close to everything! The pond has great fishing, plenty of big bass! So excited to be back next summer and enjoy all the park amenities and activities! If you have never been, I highly encourage you to give them a go. Marta and the crew will treat you right!

This was a family staycation, we rented the cabins by the pond. The cabins were so well maintained, clean, comfortable and stocked with dishes, pots and pans. The location by the pond was just perfect with seating and fire pits. The playground, jumping pad and pool made it so fun for the kids, not to mention the drum train ride. The campground itself was so clean and well maintained. Staff was absolutely amazing. We can't wait to come back and enjoyed the care and intentionality put into the campground.

This campground was fantastic! The location is excellent with things to do in the area and lots of restaurants. The campground itself is laid out beautifully and the sites are spacious and many of them have shade. If you have kids, there are lots of things to keep them happy and entertained. One of the nicest campgrounds we’ve ever stayed in overall. Also the staff members were extremely nice and helpful. We only spent one night here, but we would have loved to stay longer if we could have. Rube’s steakhouse is nearby and it was absolutely wonderful! You choose your steak and sides and then cook it yourself on the grill. It’s a really fun and different experience. We loved our stay here!

4th time staying here. Traveling from Texas to Wisconsin, I stop here because the owners provide the best customer service I have ever encountered at ANY business establishment! The actual sites where I stayed (Class C Motorhome) were well thought out and convenient for my hookups (full hookups). The bathrooms are very clean as is the entire campground! I highly recommend staying here!

This weekend was our first experience at Timberline Campground and we will be returning in a few weeks and throughout the summer and also recommending to others. We did a tent site on our first night and upgraded to the deluxe cabin on our second night both experiences were great. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There were a lot of activities for our family to participate in and we met a lot of really nice fellow campers as well. The whole place was very clean and overall just a really relaxing environment. They also have a store which has all of things you could need/want while camping and the prices were really great. And they also have a turtle in the shop/office that is really fun to check out ❤️

A very big and spacious campground. Large lots with full hookups and pull throughs. Has a pool, playground and a nice camp store. Not too far off I80 and close to a lot of attractions. Would definitely recommend this campground and would come back again.

We have stayed at this campground several times while we visit family in the area. We have over 20 years camping experience and can’t say enough good things about the hosts/staff here. Some of the best we have encountered! They have been really kind and helpful to us and seem to love what they do. The facilities are immaculate. In addition to that, there are so many choices in types of campsites, so there really is something for everyone. We have a large travel trailer so we really appreciate the large level sites and it’s been super easy to pull in and set up after a long drive. It is very family friendly and we have never had any issues with noise, just a great overall atmosphere! Our pup loves it too and heads to the dog park every time we walk her. We love having a familiar place to stay!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! Let me share my experience. Although we’re new to RV life, we’re not strangers to camping. We’ve enjoyed visiting national parks and various campgrounds across the USA. It wasn’t until we got our camper that we discovered this little gem called Timberline! As total newbies, we rolled in without even having leveling blocks or any of the essentials. We just needed a place to store our camper for a week while we moved out of our four-bedroom house. That storage turned into an exciting camping adventure while we learned the ropes of RV life! The best part? Marta, Matt, and the entire staff at Timberline have been incredibly considerate and helpful every step of the way. We even moved from our storage slot to two different sites just to get the hang of everything with our new RV! I’m so glad we ended up here! Not only do we enjoy a fantastic spot with great amenities, but we’ve also made some wonderful new friends along the way. If you’re thinking about it, I highly recommend giving Timberline a try! It’s conveniently close to awesome biking trails, shopping, and delicious places to eat!

It's a good place to camp, nice level lots easy drive through sites. shower houses are clean and there is hot water. Marti and staff have been very supportive and if I need any thing just let them know. There aren't any trees that is the only downfall.

This is a wonderful campground! The staff was super helpful and kind. Free WiFi. Tons of tent & RV sites open year-round! The bathrooms were inside the building with showers and were kept very clean. Huge fire rings. Easy parking. Not too far from the city at all. Slightly more expensive than most primitive camping but nothing outrageous. I would love to come back here!!!

Best and most helpful park we have been too! We are full time rv's and were having problems with our rig. We called to see if we could just hook up to electricity to get our slides all the way in. The wonderful women that answered was our guardian angel. She stayed on the phone with us as we drove to the park and gave us step by step directions as there was a lot of construction. When we arrived there was a nice young man that escorted us to a site, helped with getting us in and made sure we were OK! We decided to stay the night and found out it's a family ran park and it was the owner that is our angel 😇. Can't say enough good things about this park!

The spot was shady and peaceful. The neighbors were wonderful. The campground has a pool, playground and other activities for families. However our site was very difficult to get into for a 38 ft. RV with a tow. We get pull through sites when traveling for ease of access. The staff guiding us put us in a bad situation that made it very difficult to pull out in the morning. Luckily our next door neighbor was very helpful. It took at least 30 minutes to maneuver out of the site due to crowding of tents and vehicles. We were in site 16 which I would not recommend for Class A RV with a tow. There were other sites with easier access for pull through.
