Decent overnight spot. Mostly seasonal campers, clean, friendly staff. We were there early in the season so it was quiet. The playground is small and the grounds near it was a bit wet but with better weather this wouldn’t be a problem. The beach is ok. At this point in the year it had seaweed and mud. Good for one night stay. Staff was super friendly. WiFi available. Nice bathrooms.

We are from Ottawa ON and were visiting Cape Breton Island for a week. This campground was just perfect for us. We were able to park our RV and leave it securely at the gated campground while we went sight seeing the island. Our site had full hookup for electrical, septic and potable water. The view overlooking the Bras d'Or lake is beautiful and there are nice sunsets here. A very quiet campground, clean and very convenient. It was about 20 min from nice lil towns like Wycocomagh. The washrooms are very clean and so are the showers. Best shower you will probably ever have! The pressure is incredible and the shower is huge! If you are visiting the island with your RV, I highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality Louise!!

The campground is quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms are wonderful (they must be newly refinished). The sites are large and the view is amazing. I greatly recommend.

Ideal setting for camping. Trailers only, but it works. Extremely kid friendly and accommodating. Great group of people. So much so, if that's your area, grab a lot. Inexpensive too.

A peaceful campsite in an amazing location. Great base for exploring the Bras d'Or lake area. The washrooms are spotless. And the sunsets here are simply stunning

This campground is highly recommended to anyone that likes scenic views and eagles flying by day and night. As of 2017, campground is mostly seasonal and sites are a decent size. Mostly young families and seniors. Swimming is surprisingly great with the water being shallow but the annual jellyfish making it hard to swim. There is a raft located about a half an hour out. The prices at the store is what you would expect and the serve ice cream and have a slushy machine. A community center is currently being constructed. Local attractions include fishing, hiking, boating and other Government Sites such as the Highland Village of Iona and the National Park across the water. The reason I gave this campground 4/5 stars is because the people can sometimes by slightly obnoxious but other than that this campground is highly recommended!
