Lovely State Park. RV site is full service including sewer. The staff is friendly. They have ice and firewood for sale. Beautiful property with interesting rock formations accessible from the road or with a short, easy hike. The Pioneer Cabin is on a very pretty roadside area. You can stay in cool cabins with nice screened-in patios built as part of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) in the 1930s. There is a cluster of cabins as part of the group camp that would be great for a family reunion. I'd highly recommend this spot right off the Natches Trace Parkway.

Great park. Very friendly staff. It still has not recovered fully since Covid but there's plenty to do here. I tent camped for 3 nights and enjoyed it. The trails are awesome. The campground is maintained. The pool and recreation areas are not maintained but the pavilions are still usable. So much potential if it becomes fully staffed again. I would go again even with it not being fully operational.

We love going to this park to walk the trails. My favorite part has always been the swinging bridge and sitting at the water. It's peaceful.

The new section - sites 38-62- is amazing! Just perfect. Beautiful large sites with lake views and perfectly paved and landscaped. The rest of the campground needs the same treatment asap and is in rough shape. A very quiet place. The swinging bridge and trail is very cool! The river is fantastic. The only disappointment for us was the lack of swimming opportunities. The pool has long been out of service and swimming isn't allowed in the lake. The river probably has some swimming holes but was flooded and brown when we were there. There is apparently some good rock climbing in the park and a nice waterfall hike that we didn't have time to check out. The people working there are very kind.

This was a last minute getaway for us and it was only for a couple nights but we had a wonderful time. The campsites were well maintained. And all the accommodations were available. Staff was so incredibly friendly. We did two of the trail hikes and they were beautiful. We had campsite number four and I will. just say the only down side could be that the fire pit and picnic table was down a slope from the RV pad. I think the lower number campsites are the same. If this is an issue, just contact the state park and ask them about it. It wasn't an issue for us. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful getaway.

I went to Toshomingo State Park today. I enjoyed the swinging bridge and adjacent trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice trails and beautiful forest with lots of rock formations.

I loved my experience at Tishomingo. Absolutely beautiful sights. Very nice, well-kept hiking trails. A beautiful lake and river for fishing. The forest was breathtaking. Only complaints are that it is in need of upkeep and maintenance. Some of the roads need to be leveled and re-paved. I only found one usable restroom throughout the whole park. Maybe there's another one, but I couldn't find it. Also, I didn't like that you aren't allowed to fish the lake from the campsite area without renting a campsite. There were no campers that I was in the way of. There should be no problem with me fishing in an unused campsite. Other than those complaints, it was an awesome experience, and I'll definitely be returning.

10/10 recommend!! Absolutely GORGEOUS! Right off the absolutely stunning Natchez trail. Price was right - everyone was so helpful and friendly! Extending your stay is easy and can be done online. Perfect place to stop and catch some scenery and enjoy your life. 😍✨ Water and electric available as well as a dump station in the park. 🤩

Enjoyed my visit to this park. The cabin was a typical stone cabin, that would be a very cozy place to stay. But be warned, stone is very cold and during subfreezing temps the cabin is very hard to heat. Made for some very cold mornings. Staff was friendly and helpful, park was well maintained, and trails were well marked.
