Honestly, I like proximity to home but sites are not only small, you are on top of your neighbor basically sharing a site in some cases. Dishwashing sinks are absolutely horrible. The water flow is a trickle and the sink sensor doesn't work. We watched a lovely class of people sit at the water fountain and wash their dishes for the longest time. Fill a basin peeps. Bathroom vent system is SO LOUD and the women's shower, while I appreciate hot water, is legit painful. Good trail to access right from camp loop and activities for kids. Chatted with the park naturalist and learned some interesting tips. I camp all the time in the area and I don't know if I'd come back. Ohhhh, also, rangers patrol all day every day. It's a weird vibe. Bears are clearly used to people leaving food out. Had a visitor while sitting at the fire. Came within 10 feet.

Spent time at the beach and a trail directly along the shoreline. It was beautiful. Truly magical being there at sunset on a really nice day. Watched the sunset along the water and how vibrant the skies were once it had gone down. Can't wait to explore more than just the beach at sunset haha. Excited!

Great Park is located north of Tannersville in Pennsylvania and has campgrounds, boat rentals, picnic tables, and BBQ grills. They also have a beach for swimming with restrooms with full amenities. The park was well-maintained and was pretty empty so we had no issue with parking. Walking around the lake we found out that they have a campground available by reservation. All in all, we had a great afternoon.

A very nice campground with extensive activities covered near by area. In simple words since it’s near to Poconos you can have your time well spend while you stay here. We camped here for a June weekend and it was moderate weather. Some campgrounds are not in proper shape but you know it’s camping and you have to experience it. One thing I noticed is there is a lot space for improvements in restrooms. For the size , the number campgrounds covered were disproportionately planned. I hope that should be taken care in near feature. Staffs are friendly , informed , helpfull. I will come again for sure to enjoy the nature to offer.

We camp there a few times a year. Always quiet and calm even when full. Shower rooms top notch, A+ to the entire crew, good job.
