Tomichi Creek Trading Post was a great stop on our recent dirt bike trip. The staff was super helpful and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The food hit the spot after a long day of riding — especially the elk meatloaf on rye, which was fantastic. Hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re hungry from the trail. Between the service, the food, and the easygoing atmosphere, this place is a gem. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through or out exploring the area.

Very nice place to stay overnight and/or eat something when you cycle the GDMBR. The campsite has a tent area right on the creek. The toilet building with showers is spacious and clean. The restaurant has a simple menu with enough choices for high-calorie dishes. The service is friendly. The shop has a limited assortment but with enough options for your further journey.

I am so glad that this gas and restaurant was here in the middle of nowhere it seemed me. I was having car troubles on the drive home from out of state. It just so happened they shut down part of the freeway I was to take and google rerouted me in the middle of the night . The route was terrible but I kept driving...the snow plow drivers close in area were very nice and helpful as well as the store owner and staff at the restaurant...they were all very understanding, compassionate, and sincerely cared. Rare to find and I thank them very much as I didn't know what mountains lay ahead with this BMW I just bought to get to Colorado Springs....What a bunch of Lifesavers! Thank you

Stayed here for the first time with my Husband for his hunting trip and it was very nice!! Steven the maintenance Man and GG the store clerk were absolutely fantastic and the nicest people!! I met the sweetest little girl there who was the Daughter of the maintenance man and let’s just say she was cute as a button!! The employees made the experience the best and I love they have the laundry room to do laundry!! I am possibly coming back w my Husband next year all because I had the best experience ty Tomichi Creek!!!

If you’re going through Monarch Pass, Tomichi Trading Post is an absolute must! Their food is really good, their fried macaroni and cheese balls are so worth the detour. I rarely take the time to stop and eat at cafes when I’m traveling, but I’ll be stopping by here every time I’m in the area from now on. The atmosphere is awesome, me and my uncle chatted with the manager while we ate and she was so nice.

We stayed here for three nights and I’m glad we did. The hospitality was amazing. The restaurant was outstanding and overall the service and friendliness of the whole RV campground was the best we have experienced. We will be making this our yearly end of the year trip. Thank you for the wonderful memories and creating experiences.

Awesome little mountain spot I stopped at on a road trip! The service was great. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The food was great as well. Great option to stop in after filling your vehicle up with gas and taking a load off before jumping back on the road.

This is our third year staying here to ski Monarch. The food is amazing! The owners and staff are so nice! I recommend a cabin or stopping by on your way through!

Awesome place! Gas is ridiculously priced, but overall great spot to access most of the single track on the south side of Taylor Park. Ride horseshoe! It definitely has the best views!

GET THE ELK MEATLOAF! Or get anything. It’s all so good. As a born and raised Philadelphian I can say it may not be a traditional Philly cheese steak but it’s up there with some of the best I’ve ever had!! It’s AWESOME! Great service, thanks Sandra! It’s unassuming at first but definitely take a visit, you won’t be disappointed!! Thumbs up across the board. Thanks again!
