There's a big turtle on an old snowmobile.

Cool roadside attraction. It is nice the local folks have kept this Giant turtle in good shape.

Unexpected to find an RV park at a welcome center. Had it not been for seeing Tommy the Turtle from across the highway from the walmart, I wouldn't have looked over there at all. Many campsites, either full hookup ($20/night) or primate, but water is available as are showers! The shower was totally unexpected. There are play structures, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, event shelters, and grills. This one park has it all!

Tommy the Turtle is huge There is a visitor center Basketball court with 6 hoops 3 baseball fields tennis courts with pickleball courts too picnic areas playgrounds public restrooms Gaga pit (a game kids play) Well maintained and beautiful Dog-friendly But it's in such an odd location (small town in North Dakota). I wish I had this near me. There was nobody playing Basketball both times I came, meaning I had no one to play with. So it's nice, but you need to bring your own friends.

We stayed here for two nights in our RV. The playground and park is beautiful and very well kept! The parking spaces are $20 per night and come with full hookups. The one downside was the water is extremely hard and smells like it too. My water quality meter was reading well over 500 ppm which exceeds epa standards… even after going through our two onboard water filters. The spaces were nearly all full when we arrived. Seems many are traveling workers who stay for months or more at a time. Still, everything seemed clean and well kept.
