We where there a couple weeks ago and the grass was up past our ankles asked the guy on mower mowing a strip where no one camped if he could mow our site and we were told no he was only guy there we were the only 5 sites in this area that had weekend campers in that area. Water is terrible. Security guard is worried about a 17 year old kid on golf cart yes he looks young but security is running around drinking beer as he is supposed to be working and he shouldn’t be drinking and driving. I pulled in no one around and stopped at front office to get packet and a guy said I was speeding over 5mph I have a 43 foot camper about 26,000 pounds going up the hill I need some speed wasn’t even in park yet

We have been coming to this park since before it went to a membership park (a LONG time) . We will continue to go here ONLY because it is a quick trip for us. With that being said I can say the campground has definitely gone down hill lately. When you have "security" driving around pretty much intimidating or harassing people it starts to become a little much. Now we did personally have an incident with this for the 1st time and it was definitely uncalled for..someone we knew was dropping someone off and we watched the entire thing (no way he was going over 5mph, that is what their complaint was) 2 people rolled up on him and one literally knocked on the guys windows and hand gestured him to roll it down then asked him what he was doing there (again he was dropping a child off and had never been there, not a good first impression ) people camp to relax, not to be harassed by going (what you "think" is over 5 miles per hour. Golf carts fly around there, along with kids on electric bikes,.scooters ect that I can guarantee is more than 5mph..which is completely fine and would not want that taken away from the kids but at the same time, ease up on the whole monitoring and "security " that you have running around there. The grass has been an issue the past cpl times with being overgrown as well.. we were shocked to be thr a cpl weeks ago and how empty it was..we use to not be able to get a site there if we.tried to book a week or 2 out.. the pool was definitely a little green with algea the last time we were thr which wasn't a huge deal the kids still swim... I have heard alot of campers there complain about some things(most frequent is about "security" and the way the campgeound is ran) but hope it gets back on the right track and turns around...maybe mgmt or the parent company needs to start looking into some of the issues and even start handing out surveys. Might do wonders for the establishment. Never had really issues with the staff, the people in the office have always been helpful and nice.

This campground has a little something for everyone. It has a pool, put put golf, disc golf, dog park, corn hole, shuffle board, and nature trail, laundry room, doggie bath, and more. They have special events every weekend during the camping season. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of 2 reasons. #1: They sell firewood for $5 which seems good and all, until you see the size of the bundle and the size of the pieces of wood. 4 to 5 pieces of wood and they are about the size of a 2 year Olds forearm. #2: The amout of sweat bees in this campground is unbearable. You can NOT sit outside without being swarmed and bitten. You have to wear bug spray with Deet to sit outside longer than 30 seconds! Other than these 2 things, this campground is a nice place to either stay on vacation or get a season lot. UPDATE: The cost of their laundry facility is ridiculous and false advertising. On their washers and dryers the cost says $2.75-$3.00 but when you slide your card it charges you $8.00 Nowhere is it posted the prices or any surcharges. This needs to be fixed.

There were multiple people smoking in the picnic shaded area of the pool which is filled with visitors and kids. There are several signs that say “No Smoking” and a huge sand filled ash tray in the same area. One lady said,” well the management and maintenance team cannot agree on where to put a smoking area.” So, how about not putting it inside the pool entrance area! Also, speed limit 5 mph for cars and trucks, but golf carts and kids on electric bikes and scooters are not regulated.

The entrance to this campground does not give a first impression. The driveway in is in very rough shape with an abandoned restaurant standing beside it. This is a large campground next to I70. If you don't want to hear the hum of the highway, this is not the place for you. There is a large pool that seems to be kept up well but it was never open before noon the whole week I was there. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Our site was good after I cleaned up multiple dog crap piles left behind by, I assume, the last campers. Putt putt and shuffle board is free to play.

We needed an overnight spot on our way to West Virginia. We called after 7 and got an answer and a spot right away. It was our first time at a campground and she helped us ensure we had everything hooked up properly. They had activities going throughout the whole day. Looked like a fun place to stay for the weekend. Didn’t use the showers or bathhouse so I can’t speak to that but definitely an accommodating place for overnight. Our dog appreciated the fenced in area he could run and play after a long day in the RV.

Park has changed over the years, but is still a great park for families.
