A fantastic, mandatory stop on the way to Lake Tahoe! It offers everything you need: clean restrooms, a place to grab a bite to eat, and some fun gambling. The absolute best part is the amazing, scenic view of Topaz Lake you get right from the bar. I make this stop on every single trip!

Affordable Rooms in a pricey location that has few options on a week-end. Our room was Frayed around the edges. Small Basic bathroom good enough for us, but maybe not for you. Our Room: No microwave, No coffee maker, a refrigerator was brought to the room upon request. We stayed 2 nights ---- for the fall Aspens. Aging economy accommodations in a scenic area; not for everyone.

Topaz Lodge provides the essentials for a comfortable overnight stay. While the accommodations are simple, they meet the basic needs for a good night’s rest. What sets this lodge apart is its convenience — having both a gas station and a restaurant on-site is a major advantage for travelers passing through. The restaurant serves surprisingly good food, making it an easy choice after a long day on the road. Overall, Topaz Lodge is a practical and well-situated stop, offering both comfort and convenience. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars for location, amenities, and ease of travel.

My wife and I were on vacation heading from San Tan Valley, Az to Oregon to visit our daughters. We were pulling our 5th wheel and started having truck issues. We had to pull over on the side of 395. We were not sure what we would do but I looked up and at the top of the hill saw a sign for Topaz lake RV resort. We were able to get the few hundred yards and pulled in. We needed a spot to stay while our truck was being repaired and didn’t know how long it would take. Rodney greeted me and I told him our situation. They were able to accommodate us for a week, even with a busy weekend coming up. They were incredibly helpful and we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Thank you!

If you are looking for a home away from home to overnight or reset, this is the place to be. Very comfortable, this lodge offers meals for purchase, and is very convenient as it is next to a convenience store and gas station. For those long road trips that you need to take a break, I would definitely recommend here. The service is great, and the people are extremely friendly. To top it off, it's located so close to Lake Topaz, you get the view of this gorgeous site from the comfort of your room. I definitely will go back on my next road trip.

I was disappointed. The app said cat friendly. But they had changed it. I would have taken a shorter route. But I loved the location, lake etc. That's why I gave it 4. Hoping to come back without my feline buddy.

The restaurant is in a casino with a heavy smell of cigarette smoke in the air. Noise level is what you would expect being around a bunch of slots. The food was actually pretty good. I had the biscuits and gravy.

If you're traveling the 395 and need a good breakfast the restaurant serves a mean plate of bacon eggs and hash for around $12.95. Country fried steak plate was also good and a very healthy portion. Gaming floor has a good variety of slots and Keno machines around the bar where you get free drinks while playing at. Only gripe is I wish they had bubble craps, but personal preference aside the staff is friendly, and accommodating. Going to be a guaranteed stop anytime I'm traveling to Bridgeport or Bishop for work.

Horrible Experience! Traveled here for 2 weeks for work. Had so many issues! I’m pregnant, my thermostat stopped working, no air was coming out from the vent, I had it cranked down to the lowest setting, had it like that for a few hours. Tried calling down to the front desk, no answer and had to walk all the way down there. A gentleman came to look at it, was under the impression I wanted the heater on, switched it from cool to heat, I said No! It’s blazing hot in here. I need air, he places his hand near the vent and said I feel air, I said no, there’s nothing coming out, he rolled his eyes and said I feel the air. He said there’s nothing he can do. Thank God, I’m only here for 2 more nights. I now have to sleep with the window open, luckily I brought a box fan. On top of that, my first couple of nights here, I had plumbing issues that flooded the whole bathroom floor. Definitely the worst place to stay!
