Very poor customer service. Had a reservation in which we were unable to make due to our car breaking down. Legitimately stranded on the side of the road engine breakdown. Instead of being understanding that we were not able to camp here as a result and had to figure out how we were even getting back home at that point, they insisted on still charging us for the night, eventhough we had called them in advance and informed them of the situation. I understand no refund policies, but this was an unforseen circumstance, not a reservation intentionally missed. Clearly a place all about the money with no empathy.

A beautiful campground on the shore of Tellico Lake. We had a premium campsite which was directly on the shore and had a concrete pad and patio with an outdoor fireplace and picnic table. The campsite was spacious and had full hookups. 15-20 minutes to the Tail of the Dragon, 30 minutes to Townsend, and 15-20 minutes to Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. We stayed two weeks and never ran out of places to go and we certainly plan to return.

We took our Toyhauler/motorcycles to The Smoky Mountains for Bike Week and stayed at Toqua Campground just outside Vonore, TN. It was a beautiful campground and everyone was very hospitable. We enjoyed the area so much that we ended up staying an extra night. Would definitely recommend staying at Toqua Campground.

My wife and I spent three nights at Tequoa campground. The property is very clean and quiet. The site we had was along the water. The site featured a very smooth, level area that was very easy to back into. The hookups were modern and in good working order. There are clearly many permanent dwellers, but it was very quiet. In fact, the only sounds of people we heard during the entire stay were the faint sounds of kids playing. Access to the campground is very easy via wide paved roads. This should make it very easy to get to even for those with very large rigs. We had lunch at a nearby local pizza restaurant which was very good. Our single visit to the office/store was great. The young lady working there was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at a beautiful, well-run campground.
