**Location & Amenities** Town & Country RV Park is conveniently located just off the south perimeter road near Transcona, making it an ideal home base for exploring the Winnipeg area. The park offers a mix of back-in and pull-through sites, with both shaded and open options—perfect for those using Starlink. On-site amenities include a dog park, playground, manmade pond with a beach, a small store, and a spacious community room featuring a large TV. Its proximity to the Perimeter Road, shopping and Tinkertown Amusement Park gives it strong potential as a destination stop. **The Reality** Unfortunately, the park’s aging infrastructure and lack of upkeep significantly detract from its appeal. It’s clear the owners have not invested in updates or regular maintenance. **Sanitation** The bathrooms are in unacceptable condition. Overflowing garbage bins and filthy showers suggest a complete absence of daily cleaning. If you're not in a self-contained unit, avoid using these facilities. **Utilities** Power posts near site 76 are shared between three sites and often out of reach for standard RV cables. Sewer connections lack proper threaded ends, increasing the risk of hose disconnection. One connection was visibly damaged and patched with duct tape. **Dog Park** The dog run is poorly designed, with a single unstable wooden gate and sheep fencing that small dogs can easily escape through. During our stay, we witnessed a Husky get its head stuck trying to reach another dog. **Site Conditions**: Grass has overtaken gravel pads, and campers driving over it have created deep ruts, resulting in uneven terrain. Internal roads are rough and riddled with potholes. **Final Thoughts** While the location and layout offer promise, the lack of investment in infrastructure and basic cleanliness makes for a disappointing experience. Unless absolutely necessary, I recommend seeking alternative campgrounds when visiting Winnipeg.

The camping is nice in general but not well kept. The playground needs to be maintained (painted and repaired). The structures are old, the wood is falling apart, the little house should be cleaned in the inside). The bathrooms look like they are cleaned on surface but the showers should be more deeply cleaned as there seem to be moisture accumulated. Otherwise the sites were big enough, shaded by trees, the artificial lake is nice for families. There is a store inside with a tv which allows to do something during rainy days.

Stayed here for a few days last month while visiting family in Winnipeg. It's a good location on the edge of the city to access roads from Perimeter Hwy. The staff were friendly and efficient. The site we had selected was in an open area at the top of the campground. There were few trees in that area, and the ground was not level, and had lots of dips and holes. You want a flashlight for safe walking after dark. The washrooms were not well-maintained. Somewhat clean. The doors on the men's showers did not have locks and they stalls were just single spaces with no curtain to separate the shower from the rest of the stall. On our final full day, there was almost no water pressure and the electrical power was out for the entire park. I suspect the two were connected, but no explanation was given. The toilets were left open, but no warnings that flushing wouldn't work. By the time we returned to the campground late in the day, the power and water were restored, but no one had come around and flushed the toilets, so there was still loads in some of them. I wouldn't give a high recommendation for this campground if you need to use the public facilities. However, it's a good location and quiet if you're driving/towing a unit that is well equipped and self-contained using the full-service sites available.

This broke my heart, my wife and I had camped here back in 2016 and it was fantastic. Today it is in sad condition. The washrooms are disgustingly gross. The north washrooms charge $1 per 8 minutes, but the south washrooms (in the office bldg) are free. The grass gets cut, but nothing gets trimmed, so there is long grass and weeds growing up by firepits, electric posts and water pipes. The once pristine pads are now mostly overgrown with weeds and grass. The train noise can be irritating at times. The pros, the sites are large and fairly level. The staff, the 4 that I saw were all very friendly and helpful. I’m here in the middle of July and there are plenty of sites to choose from. Overall, I would still recommend the campground as it’s in a great spot, location wise. It’s close enough to get to downtown Winnipeg in about 15-20 minutes. It’s also very quiet (except as noted above) the seasonal campers were very friendly and courteous. One final note, the speed bumps on the main road inside the campground are brutal, so be very careful when driving over them.

This place has wonderful sites with lots of space to accommodate everything you need. They just constructed a new beach for all of us site-goers to use as we please which is an awesome addition. The family that runs the campground are extremely kind and helpful if you have any questions during your stay at Town & Country. Would 10/10 recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights in October 2021 on our way to BC. Very nice people. Ken gave us a good site (207) for our size (70’). Wifi was good.

My husband and I booked and staying 2 nights at Town & Country from Sept. 25 to the 26th and then decided to stay an extra night. The campground had everything we needed, full service 30 amp drive through lot, laundry facilities, clean washrooms and showers, well kept grounds and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed playing a round of mini putt and a good hour of billiards while watching the Blue Jays game on TV. The lots come equipped with nice picnic tables and a fire pit (wood prices a very reasonable compared to other campgrounds - $11 for more than twice the amount of wood you would get anywhere else). We would recommend this campground to family and friends and would certainly stay again, when in the area. Thank you to all the staff, we really enjoyed out stay !!!

This is our summer home. It is close enough to the city to be very convenient. The owners are very nice. The spaces are nice. The price is very reasonable.

Big park with pull through sights long enough for our motor home and trailer (65ft). Stayed 2 nights. Thank you Kevin for a friendly check in. Lovely family run business. Careful on the roads in they are a little rough in spots but I saw they were putting new gravel on some of them. Also be mindful of the large rocks on the corners of the cross roads. Makes for tight turns in places so follow the directions you are given at check in. Thanks again to Kevin! Such a nice young man to have met along the way.
