Nice little park with ample open space. There's also a play area for children and park restrooms, and it's dog friendly.

Wouldn’t camp here without an RV. Got out of the car and was instantly covered in mosquitoes. I immediately decided against camping the night here in my tent, and would suggest you do the same. There’s a reason the overnight fee is only $5. Besides that it’s a nice place.

Rustic city park...at $5.00 a night it can't be beat! Roads are gravel and a bit dusty, and there was a lot of drive through traffic. (Saturday afternoon and evening)The park is only a few blocks from the train tracks and the trains rumble through frequently. But you can basically park where you want. There are flush toilet, although not clean during our visit. There are several areas of playground equipment for younger children and a walking path next to the river behind the park and sports complex next door. Good overnight stay.
