We’ve been traveling for about two months camping in National Parks, state parks, and county parks. This was likely the quietest night we’ve had all summer. A few people in and out playing basketball, fishing, and horseback riding. Sheriff drove through at one point. Will definitely stay again next time we’re passing through.

Camping for the night is $5, so you really can't complain about anything. You just roll in and find any spot to park, we found a nice shady spot by the baseball field. No bath house or other facilities, but there were pit toilets, which were clean and well supplied.

Great stop off of route 2. Very clean and quiet. Playground if you have children and fresh drinking water. Price was 5 dollars cash. I would stop there again if I was driving through.

I rated it for the campground aspect not the park itself. Price $5 per night in a on your honor drop box. It’s hard to beat that other then boon docking. It’s a nice little park just a challenge trying to figure out where to park, there aren’t really any pre defined sites. There are no hookups so you better be self contained. There are bathrooms up at the entrance and if it’s closed there is a gas station on the corner. There was a lot of traffic in the evening for kids soccer (September). I would stay there again if I was traveling highway 2 and passing through Malta.

August 2023-Great place to overnight. No electic, but there is water, trash, and bathrooms. Sites are a bit hard to figure out. Look for a picnic table with a grill. Several picnic shelters. Walking trail around the perimeter of the grounds up on the levy with benches. Mature trees for shade or some open sites for solar and Starlink. Good Verizon reception. All for $5 night.
