Great campground. Very friendly people, clean and well-managed property. I was able to get a great space with shade for five nights and enjoyed the chickens, goats and turkey neighbors! I had been a little worried about noise or odors associated with them but zero issues - they’re super well cared for - and it was a lot of fun to watch them! The chickens seemed to like my dog. Highly recommend this campground.

I found this location via Google and was sold on the shower and flushed toilets . We got the upper campsites Above for the view of Mt Shasta. View is great, I do like the shower and flushed toilets. Unfortunately on our weekend it was so hot and there is no shade up there. Even with the canopy , it didn’t help much . Overall it’s not a bad experience. I might also add if you sleep at the top you can hear the freeway noise . It doesn’t bother me but just an fyi . Overall not a bad place .

Absolutely love this park! No sketchy or long term campers. Ranch setting: they have a stable of goats, chickens, pheasants, and turkeys that are very interactive when approached. The spaces are convenient and the Wi-Fi and TV hookup actually work well. Bathrooms are clean. Park is quiet and a bit away from the freeway, but still convenient and easily accessible. Not far from downtown Weed, grocery store, gas stations, etc. Also the hosts are very nice and attentive folks. If you find yourself on a Mt Shasta vacation or just passing through on I-5, you won't be disappointed

Excellent Campground!!! Campsites were clean and groomed. Quick, easy connections for our camper. No individual fire spaces, but "community fire pit" was deluxe and convenient. Bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest we've ever experienced. Laundry was clean and convenient. Play areas for children. All others guests were respectable neighbors. We will stay here again in the future!

Great little park just a bit off the freeway in Weed CA. Cute place - goats and chickens to see (not wandering, they’re caged), woods around it. Quiet, rustic but clean. Dog park and some nearby trails. Owners live on-site and available if you need them, which we didn’t. Check in simple even tho not in person when we got there because they were out. Freeway noise, which doesn’t bother me at all, but if it bothers you be aware. Would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful, sweet gem of a campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 2 nights, very quiet and peaceful and clean, loved waking up to the roosters. Nice little farm atmosphere, we were greeted with a dozen farm fresh eggs, among the amazing Mt Shasta. We have a 44 for rig, it was a bit tight to park, but definitely doable. Highly recommend.

Quaint campground in the middle of somewhere. (Weed, CA) Polite hosts. Even went out of their way to host a cookout with halloween decorations for the families and kids. They have a cute camp kitten who likes to cuddle with all the guests. Restrooms worn but clean. A broken light or two and the door does not work even though there is a code lock. Should get it fixed before the roaming homeless find out. No handicap shower, but I did a workaround with my walker. . Shower head not totally functional and worn, but they all do that evenually. A suggestion - you might want to construct an enclosure for your trash and garbage bins - they look unsightly. Maybe it wouldn't work because the garbage company would destroy the structure with theier pickup machinery - just a thought. However, I would still stay here again. It felt safe and secure. A well run Mom and Pop business. PS- a great litthe quaint store front and office very inviting to your guests.

Spent two nights here on our way home to southern CA. Small well maintained RV park. Road in parallels interstate but down in a valley so we didn’t find it noisy enough to annoy. There are two old small pull trailers that have been converted to chicken coops. If you have kids along they will find that entertaining. Restrooms are rustic but clean. Only criticism is that adding a heater at this time of year would be appreciated, little chilly early morning. We used the laundry, and it was clean and well maintained. In the tall trees and serene if this is what you want, you will be pleased.

Nice, small campground near I-5. Friendly and helpful staff called us back to upgrade us to a pull through when it opened up (instead of a back in). We have a 40 ft motorhome towing a car and we were able to maneuver around and got a pull through where we didn't have to unhook which was wonderful after a long travel day. Chickens, goats, and turkeys were fun to see on property. A little road noise but not bothersome at all. Didn't even hear the chickens. 🐓 Slept great. A short walk gave you a beautiful view of Mt Shasta. Didn't use the bathrooms but peeked in and they were very clean. Good cell service and free wifi worked great. No amenities like pool but that was ok for us. No light pollution so would be good for stargazing. Will return when in the area.

Easy to work with and the suite was wonderful. We drove all day and the spa was perfect. It was quiet and cute and there was a little store down the road. There was a fire pit area in the public use part that looked so fun to be in with family or friends. The trailers are cute. Some don't have restrooms but are near camp restrooms. The suite had it's own restroom and little back yard with spa. Loved it.

Sugar Shasta was so much fun to stay in. The decor was really cool and the camper was very clean. It came equipped with everything I needed and I slept well and felt safe (traveling solo). The bathrooms were very clean and the camper came with travel size toiletries which I thought was a really nice touch. They have chickens and really friendly goats along with a slew of other birds that were fun to visit with and there's a really wonderful view of Mount Shasta if you go to the back of the campground and follow the road past the chicken coops up the hill. A few things you may consider for your stay: I recommend ear plugs as this particular unit is right near a fairly busy road. With the earplugs, I slept very well. There isn't much light so if you are a night time reader, bring a reading light. Karen and Jay are very nice and accommodating. Should I happen to cross through Weed again, I would definitely stay here!

This campground is a gem. Great hosts. Campfire at night with the host, Jay. Beautiful grounds. They have chickens, goats, turkeys and quail. You can stay in your rv or tent camp at top of property . The views were amazing. Close to town and freeway access. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Nice little stay at the campground we enjoyed our two nights in the truck . Bathrooms are nice and so are the owners they were highly accommodating when our spot we reserved wasn’t working out . I look forward to coming this summer to spend time at the top sites where you can see Shasta and the Milky Way .

Trailer Lane was the perfect spot for our family reunion! Many of us brought our own trailers, some rented trailers and the airbnb suite from the campground. The park is convenient, cute, and well maintained with level sites, great sunset & Mt Shasta views from the top of their hill, clean bathrooms, and a relaxing farm setting with animals that were loved by kids and adults alike. Their chickens even have their own trailer park, how fun is that! Days were spent on the water at Lake Siskiyou or hiking to various water falls nearby. There is a lot to do in this beautiful area. Nights were spent playing the outdoor games provided and talking around the gas fire pit in the campfire circle. The camp store is well stocked with items you may need and lots of unique items you will want. Karen and Jay were friendly and accommodating hosts who helped us have a fabulous family reunion. We plan to repeat our experience again this year.
