This is a wonderful RV park for overnighters or those staying longer. It's a short drive off i-75. We stayed one night on our journey to southern Florida from Ontario, CA. The park is also home to an animal rescue. We very much enjoyed visiting all the different rescues, goats, a pot bellied pig, a miniature and regular sized horse, a bunch of donkeys, several Emu and a variety of chickens. They even provide feed for us RVers to hand feed the goats. We had full hookups both 30amp and 50amp at each site. We will stay here again.

We had an unexpected 5 night stay at Travelers Campground. On Day 1 of a 5-week RV trip to the Dakotas, our truck needed a new transmission. Staying at Travelers Campground turned some very sour, expensive lemons into lemonade. Here’s why: we had our Winnebago towed to the nearest campground we could find after we got our truck to Chevrolet in Gainesville. We were stranded without a vehicle for 4 days in Travelers. We ended up having a wonderful time! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and understanding about our unique situation. The campground is situated on a very large piece of property. All the roads within the campground are paved and there are many large, drive-through sites, most are very shaded. It’s hilly, and we walked our two big dogs all over that property several times a day. We loved seeing the animals in the sanctuary. We got to know many of the animals by name. They are very well cared for and living a good life there. There was a large, clean laundry room with many commercial washers and dryers. We plan on going back another time when we will go to the High Springs area. Highly recommend this beautifully maintained campground.

Easy to get to, nicely laid out. Easy in out pullthru sites great for overnight stay. I stayed in the overnight section and what I saw of the rest of the park it is just as nicely thought out for long term stays. This park is definitely on my list of places to stay!

We made a late reservation and stayed for a night. It was easy to park, with good spots. The area we're parked didn't have shade, but we're leaving in the morning. We really enjoyed walking around and saying hi to all the animals. Watch your fingers with macaws - it looks like they might bite you :)

This is a nice fun quiet place to set up on a hill spots or tiered you can pull into them and then there's a petting zoo. They'll give you carrots and cereal when you come in to feed animals which consists of donkeys horses ponies pigs chickens goats cows and some exotic birds. Spaces are nice, you get a picnic table and there is a nice pool. Ki

Me and my family just moved here for a short term stay and the place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially for us first time RV people. The property is so clean and well kept that its like a hidden oasis. Our dogs and kids love it! Would recommend for anyone looking for a weekend stay or long term.

We arrived after midnight and was able to reserve and stay same night after hours. So convenient! The bath houses were absolutely sparkling clean. It was so easy to get in and out of the park and loved the animals. Perfect, trouble free and safe place to stay! Will definitely be back.

Very clean location. Very nice and kind staff always willing to help you! Golf cart friendly. Pet friendly, and has a dog wash station. The bonus is the free petting zoo of rescue animals. They also provide free food for your little kids to feed and pet them. Amazing place to watch the sun come up and take a walk on 3 different trails/roads they have. Highly recommend overnight stays as well as long-term rentals. We loved it there.

Travelers campground was so conveniently located off the highway, very well maintained and such a cool place to stay. I loved their wildlife preserve. It was so nice to enjoy a walk in the morning and see the donkeys, miniature horses, chickens, and even a cow that they have on the property. Staff was very nice and so easy to work with over the phone, they offer discounts for AAA account holders along with other discounted rates opportunities. Overall a very organized operation.

Great group of people. Had the best say I could have ever asked for. The staff was great and helpful in the office. The maintenance workers went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable in my site. Just an overall excellent experience. We hope to return soon.

Can't say enough of about the staff and the overall vibe of this campground. Due to a medical emergency we ended up staying long past our weeks that we had reserved. The staff in the office and especially Devin went out of their way to make sure that we had a place in the campground for the extra month we ended up staying. This is also one of the few campgrounds where it is evident that all the staff cares about upkeep and making this an enjoyable place to stay. My one and only complaint is that some of the permanent residents of this campground often ignore the posted speed limits and drive way too fast on the exit roads, especially on the newly widened road. I've observed multiple vehicles move into the other lane to avoid the speedbump that is already too low to even be effective. There are too many children who often don't pay attention and my fear is someone is eventually going to hit a child or another RV exiting.

Great campground! Love the animals, an added attraction as we walk every day. 4 stars because there seems to be a problem with the water. It was not clear, appearing to be some grit in it.

Staying for the next 4 months, so far everything has gone smoothly and staff as well as neighbors have all been friendly. Will update review later. UPDATE: Liked it so much we've been here almost a year. Even with new owners, much of the original groundskeepers remains and my original review still holds true.
