It's great that birds are being rehabbed here. Reptiles are way cooler.

Great trail to hike with kids. There are several rescued bird species to see along the way.

Although I visited Oak Mountain multiple times, I never made it to the Treetop Natural Trail. Along the short trail, you can witness a few rescued birds.

Enjoyed my stop by today at the wildlife center but it seemed a little outdated and a lot of the exhibits were in repair or under construction. I see a lot of potential in the future and hope to see good things here. On a side note....the interpretive center was a fail because I had nothing to interpret....

Really nice short walk. We went late in the day and it wasn't hot at all. We went to see the owls, vultures, and hawks. That was the coolest. The first owl was being very vocal for us until I tried to film it.

There is no need to keep birds emprisoned just for the amusement of some kids and their parents while next to these cages is the forest they live in.

Our family loves this short, elevated trail. If you like raptors or nature, you will too. The trail consists of pens with hawks and owls that can’t be released into the wild again. It’s educational it’s beautifullay built as well. Sometimes you’re there at feeding time, and you can ask questions or hear a talk about the different birds, which is great for the kids. We come here at least once a month. It also has a short trail from the Treetop Trail up to the Alabama Wildlife rehabilitation center in Oak Mountain State Park
