Absolutely Amazing Experience! We had an unforgettable stay at Trinity KOA! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The campground was spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful touches that made our trip extra special. Our site was spacious, level, and perfectly shaded — ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The amenities were outstanding: clean restrooms and showers, a well-stocked camp store, fun activities for the kids, and even a sparkling pool to cool off in. We also loved how peaceful and quiet it was at night — perfect for stargazing by the campfire. It’s clear that Chet and his team take pride in creating an incredible experience for their guests. We can’t wait to come back and are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free camping adventure!

It’s beautiful there! Highly recommend this place! The staff are amazing! We went camping for Easter and they hide 500+ eggs for the kids! We had our own little fire pit and dog gated area! Full hook up! We love it! Can’t wait to return!!

Super friendly team - Jeremiah and Autumn were so nice! Clean facilities and lots of activities for the kids. Our kids loved the playground and the jumpy pillow. Store wasn’t open yet since we are quite early in the season. They are in the process of upgrading and getting ready for the summer.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Trinity lake KOA! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Friendly, helpful, and always smiling-they truly made the campground feel like home. Whether it’s answering questions, offering local tips, or just checking in to see how my stay was going, their hospitality was top notch. The campground itself is a gem- peaceful, clean and beautifully maintained. My site was spacious and shaded, with plenty of privacy and room to relax. Each site has a campfire ring and mine had a picnic bench. The amenities were excellent, from the clean bathrooms, showers, laundromat, and well stocked camp store. You’re in for a real treat. They have gourmet coffee onsite as well as a burger oasis. They have a lot for the kiddos too. A jump pad, playground, corn hole, and planned activities for the whole family to enjoy. Too many to list. The lake is short walk with the most amazing views. Fishing, boating, kayaking, SUP, or just a nice leisurely walk in the beauty of the Trinity alps. It’s all there waiting for you! Whether you are tent camping, in an RV, or staying in a cabin, Trinity Lake KOA is a fantastic choice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. This place is a true hidden treasure. Hats off to Autumn (GM) and all of her amazing staff.

Bay Area people who want to get away. This is the place to be. Skip the Tahoe nonsense and be where you will enjoy the lake to yourself with other great people. Autumn and Jeremiah were the best camp hosts you can hope for. Emasculate campground with great people and good vibes!

Good campground. We stayed in cabin 103: one bedroom plus sleeper sofa in the family room. Included all the amenities of the decent hotel plus everything for barbeque and camp fire. One of the best cabins we stayed in. The Lake is one mile away and there is no swimming beach. We rented kayak for $25 and they brought to the lake on electric car. Campground included a small store with ice, drinks and other items. Water in the pool was refreshing. Cabins are located about 1000 feet away from the general campground and it is more quite.

I have loved this place, every year since 1989. Large spaces, clean campground, wonderful staff, roving security, pool and other amenities. Snack shack and the lake are close by. Many things to do which which is why I now spend 30 days annually in the RV hookup area since I retired 8 years ago. Previously during my working years my family and I spent my annual 2 - 3 week vacation in the tent area with my pop up trailer. The sites are very large. Trinity KOA Is a destination location and I have always returned. My recommendation to others over the years have likely caused dozens of others to come. One of the reasons I and others enjoy this place so much is because you can choose your site and dates for next year which gives you peace of mind. KOA has always allowed loyal returning campers to reserve their dates and space. Many of us have even made improvements at our own expense to our sites such as bringing in pea gravel etc. Well, all that suddenly changed this season without warning. No longer are you provided the opportunity to keep your favorite site or dates for the next year. It’s all about first come first serve now. So veteran loyal campers can lose their coveted site and dates to someone who may have called a day ahead of you. Once word of mouth got around people were calling making reservations for next year choosing the best sites that have been secured for years by loyal returning campers. I managed to get my two sites but lost several days due to someone calling ahead of me and extending their trip into my dates that I have always had. And I was also required to pay in full for next season if I was to benefit from the lower 30 rate that I have received for years. This is a huge burden. I have never had to pay more than a reasonable deposit to lock in my dates and sites. Also, this season there was no roving security that I saw and all but one bathroom building was closed. I asked to talk with the new manager several times but she was never available. Not one time over my 30 day stay did I even see the manager. The coveted snack shack was very poorly run this year. The ice cream machine didn’t consistently work, really, and their hours of operation were significantly reduced. Wait times for food was horribly long. I know it’s privately run but it is on the KOA property and has always been a huge convenience to just run up and get food or treats. That changed this season. So after 32 years maybe it’s time to look elsewhere.
