When we arrived we were told there was no water in our area ( something they could have mentioned before accepting payment) the water was an off several days, than on for like two days. The pattern was for three weeks of our month long reservation. When we had another week to go we were informed that there would be no water for the rest of the stay. How would you take showers or use the bathroom without water? Did they offer refund? Absolutely NOT! That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Beware….

We will never camp here again. Our site wasn't ready on arrival. We had clean the other site we were moved to. The bathhouse was as humid and moldy as they come. One of our "neighbors" was kind enough to share their domestic abuse with the rest of the camp grounds.

The staff Elm Street Was Friendly and helpful. The back in sight What's grass and reasonably level. However The dump station I have been the worst I have experienced 10 years of traveling Around country. It was Surrounded by logs Piled in preparation for Splitting Firewood. The sewer access pipe was taller than Rv sewer Outlet Negating Gravity flow to empty the sewer Hose. Despite much maneuvering We were unable to successfully empty at that site.

We arrived on Thursday night (6/19/25) and Deborah at the main office expressed her apologies regarding the campsite, informing us that it was not ready and improperly set up. Additionally, it was not even numbered. She explained that there had been a death in her family, which had prevented her from preparing it for us. While I am quite understanding and apologized for her loss, she should have communicated this to us in advance, especially since we had booked the campsite at the beginning of May and traveled from Connecticut to Maine. It would have been more appropriate for her to close the campsite rather than offer it to campers under such poor and unsafe conditions. Furthermore, the campsite did not resemble what was advertised online! We had to inquire again about the location of the campsites, as they were not numbered, and we noticed a white, broken-down shed surrounded by garbage and rusty metal debris situated between the two campsites we had reserved. There was also trash from the previous campers which never got dumped in the dump. Ultimately, we utilized only one campsite and set up our tents on the frisbee course, which was free of garbage, rusty metal, roots, and branches. We stayed from Thursday night to Sunday night without any complaints from the frisbee players, who were aware of our campsite situation and were quite understanding. In fact, one camper even remarked that the campground was unprofessional. However, on Monday night, while we were preparing dinner, Deborah approached us and requested that we relocate our tents due to the frisbee tournament, which had already concluded, as we had just returned from exploring Maine. We were never informed about the frisbee tournament, and had we known, we certainly would have moved the tents. We informed Deborah that we were in the process of making dinner and could relocate the tents once we finished feeding the children. She departed, but shortly thereafter, the owner drove through the frisbee course, made a U-turn, and stopped at our campsite. He insisted that we move the tents, claiming that we had been told multiple times to do so, despite the fact that we had only received one request. He began to shout, wave his arms, and approach my friend, asserting that he was an adult and that we needed to move the tents without delay. We pointed out the chaos at the campsites, which appeared to irritate him even more. He displayed a complete lack of concern for us or our children, particularly since he was insisting that we relocate the tents at night when all our belongings were already arranged. Furthermore, the frisbee tournament had ended, and no one was engaging in frisbee after dark. He stopped his argument, wished us a good night, and left in haste. My friends went to take showers, and when they returned, they informed me that the owner had called the police to have us removed, falsely alleging that we had been aggressive towards him and Deborah. They did not even take into account our children, who were tired and wanted to get ready for bed, and now it was dark, forcing us to pack in the shadows. The owner did not even allow us the opportunity to move our tents, which we would have done, but relocating our tents at night was not our preference; we intended to do it in the morning when we could see. We collected our belongings and drove back to Connecticut that night. One should take pride in the upkeep of their campgrounds, yet they failed to ensure it was well-maintained and safe. I have also contacted the campsite for a partial refund and have yet to receive a reply, as we should not be obligated to pay the full price since we did not even use both campsites and the campsites were in poor condition and unsafe. I am extremely disappointed with this campsite and would not recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I stayed with our 27’ travel trailer. It was very peaceful and serene. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked great the hookups were easily accessible. There are plenty of nice trails to walk. Very affordable and there is a Walmart within a mile from there. We will definitely be back.

The owners of this campsite, or they are the supervisors of the campsite campsite is not marked as to where you can pick a can of where you’re supposed to be when you make your reservation and God forbid you should ever make a mistake a gentleman and I use that term lightly screaming and yelling going at my daughter in front of my granddaughter got very close to my granddaughter who I might add is under the age of 16 was rude. Gave them one hour to leave. They left back stuff and refused to give back their deposit I would never ever recommend going to Farmington, Maine or to this campsite. They are absolutely the worst people after the lady his wife or partner and supervising told my daughter that she was in the wrong spot. My daughter then said OK I will move. Tell me where to go. I’ll do it after my kids finish eating well apparently that was not good enough for this gentleman again using that term lightly and he went at my daughter in front of my granddaughter where my daughter had to get between him and my granddaughter that’s how close he gotand refused to give back their money after he told them that he had one hour to leave. this is a terrible awful place. I would not recommend it and if I had the option, I’d give them not even a half a star.

I used this campground for only one night. If I am being honest, this has to be the worst campground I have ever stayed in, especially considering the price paid. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind, so I feel bad for what I am about to write, but the good things to say truthfully end there. The pull through site I was in was very tiny making it difficult to maneuver my 25' travel trailer. Luckily one of the sites next to me was empty, otherwise it would have been impossible to get in or out of the site. It was also muddy, unkempt, and had wood and metal trash in the site. Driving around the campground, the roads were riddled with pot holes and large dips where water clearly washed all the gravel away. All of the sites appeared to be severely neglected, as was the bathhouse. The showers smelled terrible, musty and moldy. All in all, a very disappointing campground that I would not recommend.

This spot is ideal for travel nurses! There is a trail right down the road from the campground that leads you right to the hospital in less than 10 min! Mike the owner is a super nice hard working guy!

This place has one of the nicest disc golf courses I have played on. A great mix of wide open bombers and Technical wooded holes overall it was a ton of fun. As for the campground I would recommend staying at one of the other nearby options.

Camping with amenities (shower, laundry, wifi, electric hookup, water hookup) is always nice, if you have the right shelter. Bring your own shelter, or rent one of the cabins, yurts, or whatever here in Troll Valley. We loved our 2+ months here. And look forward to visiting during our travels through Maine. Location is convenient to shopping and most any other attractions in eastern Maine, and western NH. And this campground even has disc golf year-round.

Campsites look nothing like the website. This is more of a Camp and Play Disc Golf, then go do something else that isn't here. Campsites are relatively tiny and not meant for RV camping, which is generally the only way you'll be able to have multiple families on site as most of the campsites are that small. The disc golf course is pretty great, but obviously more well maintained than the actual campsites themselves. Staff were extremely friendly, but its clear where priorities are and unfortunately the camping side of things seems more like a side gig for this place when compared to the golf course. Especially since there seems to be campsites on/in and immediately around the disc golf course. Not something one typically expects when playing. However, if you're more into solo camping with a more woodsy feel, this site is for you. Unfortunately, this campground is not for me.

I have never camped here, but i have played the disc golf course several times. The owner is nice and the course is always nice. I'm a fairly new player and I find that the course is challenging but it doesn't make you want to throw your discs away and quit.
