This campground is in a very beautiful setting. We were glad they could accommodate us for 1 night. The majority of the spaces are filled with people living there. The office staff was friendly. The store is nice and they have a deli that was cooking good food when we checked in. They actually sell gas at the campground which is nice because there are no stations nearby. They had restrooms but they were all locked when we went to use them. It might be the time of year. We enjoyed the beauty of the campground.

I moved my trailer here so that way I wouldn't have to drive up to Truckee every. Some of the spots are small and share a water line. That part kinda sucks. But other than that it's a nice spot 15 minutes away from my work. Love it

We swung in here en route to Rubicon trail, hoping to find batteries we had forgotten. What a hidden gem! Their little market had more necessities than every huge truck stop we had tried.

This place is a local jewel of Truckee! Walt is the visionary owner whose honest down to earth approach is a beacon of hope for all Americans. This family ran outfit is definitely a strong example of what it means to offer a good service to families and patrons alike. Also the perfect stop for fuel and a great sandwich between Reno and San Francisco

We stopped here for gas. It's a bit rustic and services are limited, but met our needs, and gas prices were reasonable.

May not be the best for big campers. But the super friendly staff and killer breakfast burritos make up for that. The definition of truckee local is show every time you walk in. Yes its close to the freeway, some noise depending on site, but the 1-2 min walk to the river is great for your 4 legged friend! Who doesn't love a great breakfast burrito and kind people in the morning. Family owned and operated. It has that homely feel away from home.

It's the second time I've been there on the way home from a trip. We stop just for the sandwiches. They are so delicious! The staff is excellent, very friendly.

If you like an RV park right next to the freeway then this is the place for you. The entrance was tight especially with a gas station on the left-hand side. The roads are not big rig friendly as the roads are very narrow and we hit several trees on the way to the site. Scraped the side of our coach even when we took extreme caution. The site itself is incredibly uneven. So much so we cannot level the coach (unless you want your front and back tires suspended in mid-air). When the business cycle gets worse, this place is going to take a hit. Not worth the cost in our opinion. There are better options out there especially for big rigs. The only reason we gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the site has a nice lawn.
