Lots of beautiful scenery and a fantastic day trip! There are so many amenities and options for camping if you have more than a day to spend. Picnic areas, lakeside views, playground, kayaking, horseback riding, and several hiking trails. Tuckahoe is definitely worth a visit for an outdoor adventure, white you're solo or with a family or group there is plenty to see and do. I enjoyed it very much!

There's lots of nature. There are rows of turtles drying their shells, lots of birds, and flowers and greenery blooming along the water's edge. I went to the office and rented a kayak. I went to the designated spot, unlocked the door, and moved it to the water's edge myself. Be careful when moving it, as there are lots of goose droppings on the ground lol. I opened a locked shed nearby and looked for my size safety vest.

First of all, let me say I have no idea why Maryland state parks are so under used. They are extremely quiet and seem to have very low visitation whenever I have stayed. Tuckahoe Park is no different than my previous stays at other Maryland Parks there seems to be absolutely no one there. We stayed at the Dogwood cabin within the campground here. It is what you expect of a kit Cabin a pretty basic mattress on each of the bunkbeds and the main double bed. The campsite was clean and orderly and overall very, very nice. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. If you haven’t stayed in a Maryland state park and you can get around that reservation system they are hidden gems.

Surprisingly refreshing for the Eastern Shore. As an inlander, I enjoyed feeling like I was actually in the woods, not just on a small patch of flat while the hunters were busy.

Went fishing with my family here and it was a beautiful day with lots of beautiful scenery. Didn't catch any fish, but the quality family time was great.

Turkey season! Shower house has 2 showers each in male and female. Hot water is abundant. Campground is in excellent condition with electric available in one loop. Staff is cordial and stopped by my site to warn me of heavy thunder storm warning today. Lots of activity at the equestrian center on weekends, fishing and kayaking are popular activities at the pond. Pet friendly, kids playground, lots of hiking trails. Great restaurants in Denton for a night out. Rate it 8+

Beautiful place for long walks, exploring and enjoying nature especially in Spring and Fall. I've camped here many times and have fond memories of time spent here with my son, family, and scouting trips..

I love this park, it’s been my childhood. The trails are always fun, the water is good to go kayaking/canoeing, and it’s a safe place to be. There’s plenty to explore here, from the tire park to the waters and through the woods. This is where I’ve gone for years to have fun with my dad and sister, and I’ve even been camping here a few times. It has the Adkins Arboretum which I went to for field trips and on my own time for fun. It’s a beautiful park and a great place to build memories!

Beautiful park offers hiking, boating, fishing, and an awesome campground for tent campers and camping trailers. Canoes and kayaks for rent right on site. We are so lucky Maryland has such great recreational parks!
