What RV parks used to be! Rustic yet spacious and flat sites. Full hook up. Amazing natural landscape. Restrooms and showers simple and clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Very quiet. Did I mention the river views! The front row seat to the steam train (only twice a day never early or late). So perfectly located to bryson, waynesville, cherokee, etc. Such a breath of fresh air to not be price gouged for wasteful frills like these other big RV parks are trending towards. THIS place is why we RV. we will be back!

My family camped here for a weekend in our 30 ft 5th wheel and were thoroughly impressed. We did not try camping here for a long time, even though it is very close to things that we enjoy doing in the area, because of our expectation of road and railroad noise. These were literally the only possible drawbacks. Our entire experience easily eclipsed the road noise, and we enjoyed the Great Smokey Mountain Railway trains coming through a few times per day. The road noise is rather muted by the river, which is between the campground and the road. We did not hear the road at all from inside our camper. This is one of the best engineered RV campgrounds we have been to, especially considering its location squeezed between the river & the railroad track. These sites are wide and level and very easy to back into, even for larger rigs. There is a large turnaround at the far end of the campground. This campground is more suited to quiet adults, which suits my family perfectly. There is a coin laundry area and very nice library with comfortable seating options. The camp store has essential items & even live bait. The bath house is immaculate with large shower stalls. The campground is well maintained with a walking trail along the river, with several access points for fishing. The area is excellent for tubing as well. Very convenient to Bryson City, Dillsboro & Cherokee. Very affordable, especially considering that all sites are 30/50 amp full hookup. There are no tent sites. There are three cabins. The camp hosts have been on site long term, are very friendly & helpful. Our family will definitely be back.

This RV park is great! And so affordable. We just commented that we wish we had spent the last 4 nights here instead of Willow Valley. The guy who showed us to our site was so helpful and friendly. Going above and beyond. He even helped us push our motorcycle trailer into our site with a motorized dolly that was struggling on the gravel. I highly recommend this RV park.

What a wonderful place! The staff is incredibly helpful, especially helping a novice back in! The full hook-up sites are clean, level and most are on the Tuskaseegee River. The location is central to kayaking/rafting, hiking, Cherokee casinos. Surprisingly, there was a kitchen, a large indoor sitting area, clean bath house and a pavillon with swings, rocking chairs and tables. My friend had a cabin and it was very clean and just lovely. You just wo't meet nicer people who care!

We drove 5 hours to this rv park only to be kicked out before we could even park. The manager was extremely rude. His attempt to help park our rv was just a bunch of hollering and screaming which I could barely understand. When I asked him to not help so loudly he kicked us out. This was our second attempt to stay here. You would be wise to ignore the bought 5 star ratings. This place is bizarre.
