My family and I love Turkey Creek! I've stayed there in my bus rv conversion alone and also with my family and felt safe,clean restrooms,washer and dryers are a plus! Ive been to campgrounds where the folks are just there for a check then ive been to Turkey creek where u can obviously see these folks take pride in their daily job and enjoy what they do and it shows bc the campground is beautiful.The ladies at the office are always kind and welcoming and willing to accommodate guest.We have also stayed in cabin #2 it's always clean and cozy and of course you'll see a bug or two it's a cabin in the woods!But you WONT see infestations of roaches and mice. I highly recommend Turkey Creek Park!

We celebrated Independence Day in style at their fantastic event! Sharing it with family made it even more special. The fireworks display was truly spectacular - a perfect way to commemorate the occasion. A wonderful experience that left us beaming with delight!

We stayed one night as we’re traveling through Mississippi. It’s a very quaint, very nice park. Most sites are back in but a few pull throughs which is what we had. I can’t review the restrooms or facilities as we didn’t use any of them. Our site was nice with a cement picnic table, a large tent pad, a fire ring and a stand up grill. It’s all nestled in the woods. We were able to get a site without a reservation and there’s no minimum stay. I don’t know if it’s a good multi-day or vacation campground in terms of hiking trails and things to do, but it was great for a day or two. It’s miles away from Interstate 20 or any busy roads, so it’s very quiet. Worth the distance from Interstate 20.

Our stay here was terrible we get there and see swim beach is closed which was one Main things we asked before making reservations here. We were told we could go to beach but have to hike through woods to go there we went looked at it that area had not been maintained in long time trash overflowing grass grown up beach washed out and trashed. Never seen worker through park but once maybe all weekend. We were put between 2 camper that appeared to be family or friends running back and forth through our spot all weekend riding their golf cart through our spot all weekend parking their vehicles wherever. Up all night with disco lights shining through our windows till 2am. Of course the camper in front of us for some reason was facing our that's where they hung out all time. So needless to say we never got any kind peace had neighbors staring at us all weekend. Was definitely not for us I been to many way better parks for same price or little less with more stuff to do than here and not have to deal with all that. We had to drive 30 minutes up road just to be able to play in water with our baby. We went do laundry where the laundry mat supposed to be was nothing but restrooms there so couldn't do laundry. Probably want be back here.

My family and I were taking family photos and while I wasn't looking someone stole my shoes. We weren't by the water more than 5 minutes and my shoes were gone. This place has no security.

Its a great lake for camping fishing boating and picnicking. They have speical events all the time. Most are only for the campers but the July 4th Fireworks is open to the public.

This campground is a great place to visit. The people who work here are extremely helpful and nice. We had a wonderful time camping. The facilities are nice and the area is beautiful.

Scenic park. Lake stocked with bass. Bunkhouse style cabins and larger available. Camping,Rv locations available. Only downside was lakeside is difficult to access steep terrain and distance for those of us getting up in age.
