My fiancée and I thought about gatekeeping this spot, but we want others to know what a hidden gem this place is. The campground sits about 20 mins (16 miles) in from the main road, so make sure to come prepared with food, ice, etc. The site fee is $15/night and is FCFS - there were about 4 empty sites when we arrived around 4PM on a Saturday. There are a lot of campers with horses, which we loved but may not be for everyone. Overall, a great spot if you are looking for a secluded, woodsy campsite.

This place is heaven on earth, peaceful, beautiful, quiet. It is located 17-miles East of Moran Junction on the Buffalo Valley Road. It is outfitted with 14 standard campsites, 4 pull through sites, 2 double-unit vault restrooms, and 1 single-unit vault restroom. It is also equipped with corrals, hitching posts, water access, a stock tank, accessibility to bear boxes, dumpsters, and a game storage pole. There are corrals and designated places to tether stock.

Beautiful place to camp. But 4 stars for non-equestrians being allowed to take up equestrian spots with limited corrals. Camp host is on site and helpful with information. High-line is allowed where there's no corrals. Some brand new highline poles were being put in while we were there by Back Country Hoursemen👍There's a hitching post, fire ring, picnic table and lots of trees for privacy. Scatter your manure, water spickets at near almost every site. Porta potties where kept stocked and clean. Beautiful trails straight from campground. Nice Creek close to campground as well. 9/21

Brought our 30' class C with tow down 4.5 miles of gravel into a small national forest campground. Had a great night surrounded by horse campers.

Only drawbacks was you have to pack out everything so you have to keep your trash until you can find a place for it being from out of state we had to look for a place and it doesn't have showers you have to pay for a shower up the road at fireside.

18 sites. Some with full sun others with lots of shade. River runs right around campground. Bearproof boxes for each site. Good we'll maintained pit toilet. Easy drive to Grand Tetons. Fabulous place to stop. Be sure you drive in through buffalo valley road and NOT on the forest road like Google maps will direct. Well setup for your horses. Lots water from 3 water stations through park. Beautiful evening views. $12 per night it $6 with america pass.

Beautiful, majestic and super peaceful spot. Best relaxing place if your just want to totally disconnect from the crowds in Gran Teton and your electronic devices 😜 We found this gem by luck! I want to go back next year to camp longer. It was wonderful you guys! No showers but a refreshing river can be found really close for a quick cleaning (no soap used here)😁 It has bear lockers to store your food if needed. Plenty of room between campsites. Running water and fire rims too. The host is really helpful and friendly, has some cool stories to tell. Remember to claim your site and put the receipt in the pole by the campsites!

Excellent horse camp. Large overflow area if campground is full. The toilet was super spotlessly clean and camp hostess was helpful with trail recommendations.
