I can't say enough wonderful things about this park. Beautiful setting, the cleanest and most spacious bathrooms/showers Ive ever seen at a state park. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there's a neat little shop at the entrance. I'll definitely be back and will send my friends!

The shower facilities alone made this location amazing! Our grey tank filled by day 3, so we had to resort to the public shower onsite. Wow, nicer than most hotels! The campsites are very spacious and private with ample room for yard games. The trails are beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed some fishing at the river and caught a couple of small rainbow trout. Park staff came by often to offer firewood for purchase and monitor park patrons. Very friendly! If you’re military, the GF Airforce base is a few minute drive in case you need any essentials during your stay :-)

Turtle River State Park is a beautiful secluded park. Our campsite was level with power and water at the site. The comfort station in the campground looked to be fairly new, beautiful inside and out. Very clean. All the staff that we engaged with were very friendly and helpful. There is a seven dollar vehicle charge that is not mentioned in their website or in the price of the campsite. We definitely would stay here again.
