Lots of things for children and family close to many attractions. 45 minutes from apple orchard with stone fired pizza

Very clean pool and variety of nice camping lots for different preferences. Nice area for children to play and ice cream shop was available during our trip. All the other guests we encountered were kind and enjoying their stay too. We had no issues with unpleasant staff as some other reviews have said. I felt the campground had just as many activities for guests as any other campground offers- we especially liked how peaceful the campground was while being nearby so many attractions. Lots to do. This was our first trip here and we had a great time and will definitely be returning.

Formerly Michigan oaks. New owner will nickel and dime themselves out of business. 5.00 per person visiting to use the pool plus 5.00 to enter with a car. No outside firewood allowed but will sell you small bundle for 6.oo plus 25.00 fee if you come before 2 and 25.00 fee if you leave after 11:00 I'm on vacation traveling from Tennessee so sorry I arrived early and wasn't going to sit in the parking lot with a dog and a cat on a hot day when there was nobody in our site. Excuse was they were cleaning but the place is all dirt. I will not come back and our families have been camping here for over 30 years. Our annual family reunion will now be at timber ridge as Twin Bears only does activities on Fri Sat Sun from 6-8:15 pm nothing during the week

Pool was too cold for kids to swim for a long time, even though it's supposed to be heated, and this was a hot week, no reason for it to be cold. Our lot was flooded with 4" of water majority of the week, with no assistance offered, yeah it rained, but couldn't even use the site for 2 days, and we weren't in a low point either, just poor upkeep/planning. Asked for a call because we could never seem to get hold of management, Never got a call either. Store/Ice cream shop was never open either.

Staff was incredibly rude. The sites were poorly marked and we specifically called and asked if we were on the correct lot. They said it didn't matter until they called us to move our tent after we had set everything up the night before. They had multiple empty lots. Yellow jackets were crawling all over the bathrooms. We packed up to leave a day early. When we went into the office to check out they informed us that they don't do refunds, under any circumstances. It was a disappointing trip.
