We had reservations Easter Week. We received a call 3 days before we were to be there and they canceled are reservations. They found black mold in the cabins. So disappointed. We are still waiting for are deposit. Not happy with them at all.

We stayed with family so we didn't get to check out the rooms. But we did enjoy all the other fun things they have going on. Wonderful family campground. Looking forward to another trip back!

We were in the pool today as a storm was arriving in the distance and left for our RV. A couple hours after the storm we walked to the big pools just to find them locked. A person stopped and told us that Mike is lazy and won’t unlock them once locked. It was 5:30 with blue skies and they’re advertised as open till 8. We walked back to the one closest to us and found that one closed too. Another person told us that Mike lives in the RV next to that pool. We knocked on the door and asked for the pool to open. My children are 4 & 6 and were disappointed when we were told no because he didn’t want to check the chemicals. It’s 84° with 82% humidity and he refused to unlock the pool out of laziness. Don’t bother staying here. The WiFi is an additional charge and doesn’t work either and the sites are tiny. A picture of the skies when we asked for the pool to be unlocked. TLDR; Mike is lazy, won’t open pool, no WiFi, don’t bother staying here.

Disrespectful, reckless, and completely unprofessional. Visited over 4th of July weekend to see friends who live at the campground. We stopped by the game room, which had the lights on and an OPEN sign up and paid to play pool. Mid-game, some guy named Mike (manager or staff) barges in, turns the lights off on us while we’re still playing, and just keeps saying “Game room’s closed” over and over. No explanation. No warning. Refused to refund us even after we said we had just paid. To make it worse, we saw him earlier FLYING through the campground while on the phone, with kids around. Completely reckless and unprofessional. If this is how guests and residents are treated, I wouldn’t trust this place with my family or a weekend stay. Avoid.

We arrived for a 3 day stay.. we have a travel trailer. STAFF were very approachable and helpful. The resort was extremely clean and fellow campers made us feel welcome 🙏 We live just 11/2 from there and were told about Twin Lake and are happy we had. Hope to visit often as finances permit. I gave a rating of 4 only due to their water pressure for water supply was very low. Otherwise 5 star straight up..

We arrived on Christmas Day to a gentlemen who greeted us and showed us to our campsite. It was very easy entry. This reservation is part of our Thousand Trails membership. Once at the site, everything fit well and no troubles hooking up. The people here have been very friendly and the campground is quite clean and spacious. With it being water being everywhere, there are a few bugs to be expected but the views are peaceful. They have a water fountain in one of the ponds that gives a nice touch. Truly enjoying the stay.

This is the 3rd time this year staying here. 1st time was “okay” it was a tight squeeze for the motor home we had. The 2nd time we came we were assigned a site that the person behind us had a gazebo so far into our site our slide outs wouldn’t go out. We were able to change sites. This weekend we get here at 7pm on Friday to find yet again the site we were assigned was too small, the camper behind us was plugged into our power and water. We called and got maintenance but couldn’t get the manager since “she doesn’t give her number out” I understand that to a point but when we’ve travelled an hour plus away with a 6 year old we need somewhere to stay and we want what we paid for. & the pot holes haven’t been fixed since May 2021. We’ve stayed 5/2021, 7/2021 & 11/2021 it will definitely be our last until they get new management. Very poor customer service and this place was NOT ran that way back from 1991-2007!! I grew up camping here for 16 years and never had any issues. I come back to try and show my son all the memories I made as a child and that has not happened. It’s terrible and we won’t be back!!

We stayed for 2 weeks in October as part of our Thousand Trails membership. Great pull through site but they have holding tanks for sewer hookups & didn’t mention it. When we went to leave, our tank overflowed & we had to wait for them to come pump it out before my husband could flush out our tank. Very peaceful during the week but the weekends were pretty noisy at night. Fireworks & lots of golf carts. It was even noisy after 11, which is supposed to be quiet time. Convenient to Washington & Aurora NC. Would stay there again when visiting Aurora Fossil Museum.
