Very nice experience! Was a little rainy when we went, But it didn't change the beauty! So relaxing and clean! Would definitely recommend for family days or dates!!! Or just a dog walk.

Camped here for a few nights. Hard, rocky tent sites with tree roots. Wish we would have looked at other sites before booking the ones we did. (Near the main road) Otherwise the beach in the park is great & lots of birds. Showers were manageable. No other complaints!

Stayed a couple nights along the lake. Nice, small park, but too close to highway 26. Lots of big trucks on the highway makes it loud during the night. Nice playground area for children. Good area for lake activities. Showers and bathroom are okay but showing their age. Firewood man comes through each day with his truck of wood and brings it to your campsite, a nice service. Close to a restaurant, bar, gas and convenience store. Nice lake.

The campground is good with fire pits and tables. Water is available for tenters as well as bathrooms and showers. The facilities are clean but dated. The Highway runs right by the west side of the campground, try to reserve near the lake side if noise is a problem. Earplugs helped as my tent was in spot 11 about 30 feet from the highway and logging trucks. There is a nature trail across the highway as well as an OHV trail.

Not very private and geared toward RVers, which I wish I would’ve known before staying. They really pack em in! Highway noise was also pretty loud. Convenient on the way up the Keewenaw and nice bathrooms/showers.
