We tent camped here over the weekend and had an awesome time! Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off — this place is easy to book, beautiful, and super low key. If you’re a responsible group that can respect quiet hours, you’ll have no issues. We stayed at site 42 which is peaceful being right on the little river, and it was such a bonus having a little on-site store with firewood, coffee, and ice. The pizzeria on property was excellent — perfect for a laid-back dinner after a long day outside. Free hot showers were another big plus! There’s minimal supervision, which we actually liked because it made things feel relaxed and self-sufficient. Overall, it’s a great spot for chill, respectful campers. We’ll definitely be back!

I reserved a campsite here for two night but figured out a few weeks in advance that I could not stay the second night. I informed the campground, in advance, that I would need to cancel the second night. I also asked if it would be possible to charge my electric vehicle at my campsite, which had electric. I told them that if I could not do so I would need to cancel the trip. I never heard back from them. Closer to the date of the reservation I contacted them again, through email, and had no response. I then called, several times, and there was no answer. I wrote asking for a refund and, again, have not heard from them.

No internet, many rules but don't seem to be enforced. We bought a quiet generator for making coffee and electric heat and couldn't use it. Otherwise, it was the river by the tent site and quite beautiful. The store to get ice, wood and souvenirs doesn't open until 11. The Bear proof trash receptacles we were told to use were very difficult and full. Colby helped with one as I'm a senior and had trouble with that. Great price, free hot shower and bathroom respectable

This is a wonderful campground. The owners & staff are always helpful. I needed a ladder & a wet vac, and maintenance brought it right over for me to use. This campground has great facilities and is always clean. Highly recommend to camp here at this KOA

Really pretty campground! Nice location on the river, clean bathrooms, good location. The general store and pizza place were great. It doesn’t seem like anyone is really managing the campground though. We had neighbors blasting loud music all day and late into the night and no one stopped them. There seem to be a lot of rules with no one enforcing them. Management is also impossible to get in touch with. We will most likely be back since it really is a gorgeous spot, just something to be aware of before booking.

We just stayed for two nights but would have stayed much longer if we could. We’ve been camping fir many years and both my husband and I think this would be our favorite place. We were here on the 22nd of Sept and the fall colors just began to pop out while here. Our campsite was right on the little river, beautiful and peaceful. A couple of problems we had was the two days we were there the camp store and restaurant were both closed (Tues & Wed). Also I’m 64, tall with bad knees and they had only short toilets and no hand rails so with my knees was VERY difficult to get down and up. That said, the restrooms were clean and nice and we loved our stay otherwise. We will come back

It is a very clean and well maintained campground. Sites are spacious. Tent sites with grass ground so tent doesn't get dirty.

Beautiful campground! Truly a gem! Very friendly owner, spacious campsites, and clean bathrooms. Attached to a restaurant with amazing food with big portions! We had a site by the river, which was amazing! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about this place. I was beyond pleased with the campsites (size, cleanliness, and accessibility to the facilities). The restrooms / showers may be the cleanest I’ve seen at a campground. Being next to the river is an added bonus to the site (site #53). The general store and restaurant have most anything of what you may have forgotten; as well as, some items that’ll make it a fun walk for your kids to look forward to. LW thanks for a great experience.

The riverfront site is what attracted me to this campground, and that part was nice. Other than that, the facilities resemble a junkyard. All of the buildings look run down and poorly maintained. The grounds are full of rusting equipment and vehicles. The playground is small and looked to be rotting, and the pool had a large, unidentifiable object in the bottom. We were there for a mid-week reservation, and did not encounter a single campground employee that we could report any issues to, since both the store and restaurant were closed for the greater part of our stay. I can see why this campground might appeal to some campers, but for the price, I found the facilities quite lacking. I have included photos of the areas I found to be most run down, and also one of the nice feature of our riverfront site.
