We recently stayed at Twin Oaks and fell in love with the views, the property and the people! This is a very well kept park and the owners take a lot of pride in it and it shows! We stayed in a few sites during our stay and F1 was probably our favorite due to the views of the valley and the lake. This site provided a large grassy area for our grand daughter to play and practice her casting skills. On the weekends the camp plans activities for the adults and kids and every weekend there is something different. All of the sites are level and we had no issues with W/E/S. Laundry room and bathhouse is located near the transient pull through sites and there are restrooms throughout the park. Roads are gravel and plenty wide enough for the big rigs to navigate easily throughout the park. The campground is mostly full of seasonal campers but all are well maintained and some of the sites are very impressive with their gardens and decks. Transient sites are located around and near the lake and all are wide enough for large RV's and offer water and electric. Honey Wagon service is available and we used it plenty and never had any issues. Connectivity inside the park can be hit and miss with cellular. If you are in F1 you will have T-Mobile 5GUW and as the site number gets higher, so does your signal loss. Plenty of open area for Starlink and the staff is courteous with your equipment on lawn maintenance days. Larry and Karen have done an amazing job at making Twin Oaks a little slice of Paradise and I can't wait to see what they have planned next.

I want to start by saying that I’ve ever left a negative review in my life. My family and I visited for the day and our experience was beyond bizarre. Upon trying to enter, we were first very rudely denied because my husband did not have his ID on him. The owners made an exception because we had our 10-month old son with us for the Halloween festivities. When they asked me for my license plate number and I gave it to them off the top of my head, they went outside to the back of my car to confirm because they didn’t believe me. Since my husband didn’t have his ID on him, they would not let him drive to the campsite and made him switch into the passenger seat if we wanted to be let in. We were then escorted by the owners in a golf cart to the visitors parking space. They did not leave until we were parked and had gotten our son and all of our things out of the car. We spent about 6 hours here. It was fine. When leaving and in route to the exit, the owner, Karen, raced up to the side to our car in a golf cart demanding for us to roll down the window. She started screaming and accusing us of speeding which we were not doing and threatened to call the cops on us. Ironically enough, she then flew to the campsite we were just visiting, exceeding her very strictly enforced 5mph speed limit, to scream and swear at my elderly mother accusing us again of almost hitting her with our car and that we were never allowed back. Based on the other negative reviews, it sounds like others have had a similar experience here. We have never felt so unwelcome and been treated so rudely by owners of a business before. We have never been rudely treated by any business owners before. After tonight, it is mind boggling to me that people would support this campground when there are so many other beautiful places in the area where you will not be harassed, scrutinized, and verbally abused by the owners. Save your sanity.

We had a peaceful, relaxing weekend. This was our first time staying at Twin Oaks campground and it was fantastic 🙌. We would love to return for another visit in the future. Clean, organized and friendly. We loved that we were escorted to our camp site and the firewood we purchased was delivered to our site 🤩 This IS a SAFE and family oriented campground. Fantastic owners ☺️

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW I have never written a review before and could not stop myself from writing this one. We came to this campground for a relaxing and fun time to spend with good friends and sightseeing. Directions to this campground were easy and detailed, we never missed a turn. Campground is clean, well groomed, and the owners take pride in their campground. We were treated with respect and kindness. The bathrooms were immaculate; when you wanted fire wood, they delivered to your site. When campers left, their sites were immediately cleaned, and I mean cleaned, their fire pits were cleaned out and their sites were checked. When we arrived, we did not have to worry about finding our site, they escorted us right to it. Rules, yes there are rules and none of them were hard to keep, everyone of them had a purpose. This is a campground you will enjoy coming to and having a hard time leaving.

As I read some of the complaints I can only shake my head and wonder about people’s expectations. I have stayed here as both a transient camper and now as a seasonal of multiple years. This campground is well run and maintained. As a single woman I find the rules comforting and feel safe here if I come by myself. Larry and Karen and their staff do a great job.
