Great campground, close to the highway but near the river sound was covered. Very clean and well taken care of.

Nice clean campground east of Independence Pass. 35 spots. Several a little too close to the highway but luckily not a lot of traffic, especially at night. Went on a Wednesday and busier than we expected. Spots were limited and not many for bigger RVs. There’s a double spot hidden right next to the river. Good room between spots though. Clean restrooms. Nice camp hosts and met some nice people. We would go back.

Omalley

This is an excellent campground with a river running along the southern edge. Camp hosts in July of 2025 were what made this a truly excellent trip. Will return as it is a great site with access to several 14ers.

This is a REALLY nice and very CLEAN site. Bathrooms were clean and fresh. Camp hosts are great! Multiple sites border the Lake River and there is “easy” access to the river.

I stayed two nights at Twin Peaks Campground and had a fantastic experience. I have camped regularly my whole life and have never seen such an emasculate campground. Not only was there zero trash in sight, but they had the cleanest restrooms I’ve seen at a campground. The camp host during my stay was Hannah, who was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Hannah was often present to assist campers, provide assistance and information, and go above and beyond to make everyone’s camping experience the best possible. Thank you, Hannah!

Love this campground me and my husband Donoven was the camphost here for two years , we wanted to keep going but we did not get into contact fast enough I guess , and they gave it to someone else without even calling or talking to us we been waiting all winter to come back we wanted and still wants to come back.. we do this campground with our family and we had so many people come out and see us every year but kinda upset at Rockies mountain for not getting ahold of us to fill the spot we been in for the past 2 years …. Loving campground though! Wish we were coming band this year .. we will see

We stayed here my first time ever camping in Colorado. It sure got chillier than I had expected when nightfall came. Besides my mistake, the stay was very enjoyable. The river behind the grounds is accessible and very beautiful, it looks like it's glowing when you see it in person. The campground filled up pretty quickly so I'f recommend claiming a site in early afternoon if necessary.
