A wonderful and relaxing experience. The owners are the sweetest folks ever! I was in Cabin 5 which is one of the older cabins. It was small but plenty big enough for 2 people. It was extremely clean and the kitchen well stocked. The Conejos River was right behind the cabin. If you're looking for a friendly and quiet place to stay, this is it.

NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD First off management is way out of line and rude, don't even bother wasting your money here. Second inside the cabin I rented the door does not close to the bathroom, the front door to the outdoors has a large hole in it. The shower does not work. The bathroom flooring was chipped and broken but it gets better, the management accused me of STEALING the "carpet in the cabin" when they only have rugs, and I would never have stolen a rug. They charged me for "damages" that I did not cause. Front office was also creepy and talking about disrespectful subjects upon checking in. DONT GO HERE

Spent three nights in one of their cabins, and it was perfect. Very clean, surprisingly comfortable beds, gas stove and outdoor grill provided. The host was lovely, the guests were quiet and respectful, and it was a great home base for fishing the Conejos. I definitely hope to return soon.

We stayed here in our rv for a month. Location is great. Fishing, hiking, camping all within minutes. You have to try the Amish baked goods (carrot cake with creme cheese frosting, oh my!) Excellent stay, we will be back. Heads up the washer/ dryer was out so we washed our clothes in town. No problem

This place has potential, but still has a way to go. We stayed here based on fond memories of a stay a few years back and were somewhat disappointed. Our cabin had a futon in the living area which was oversized for the frame (which would neither sit up or lay down) leaving us no real place to sit. The bedside lamps were all either broken or we had to get on our hands and knees to find a place to plug the lamps in. The laundry facility was in a pavilion strewn with cobwebs, and of the multiple washers and dryers, none of them were working or even plugged in. The TV was not working until after multiple notifications. The bridge crossing the stream was “mushy”, moving with every step. The square footage of the refrigerator was about twice that of the shower and the toilet was only about 14” high. Could be a great place, but we will look for improvements before we return.

Stayed a month(July-August 2021) in 43' class A MH. Really great folks running the park. Will do about anything possible to please the campers. Rural area, mostly quiet. Mosquitoes bad to tolerable as time when on. Really need a screened tent to stay outside at night. Wifi poor but owners were doing everything they could to improve it. It was tolerable. Would stay again if in the area. Also, if you want fishing this is the place.

I called to make reservation for month. Katherine denied my request said had people call in January to book reservation. Asked her if would let me know if cancellation so could extend. Absolutely. Stayed here 20 days charged 735.00. Talked to others One person paid 500 for month but when went back to pay next month without out notice was charged 699.00. Others if friends paid 499.00. Pros quiet. John Katherine nice always say good morning. Is this because overcharged no idea Cons very expensive. Other than train no reason stay. Did I mention park never filled up even on Labor Day. When left at at noon today had 11 openings.

Almost gave the park 4 stars because the mosquitoes are horrible for the first 2 weeks we were there but came in a dusk to avoid the worst...just wear repellent! Katherine and her husband, Thea and her husband were awesome and wonderful accommodating hosts. Park is located to a lot of different things you can do...the small town of Antonito is also one of the friendliness towns we have been to.

My wife and I stayed in a cabin for four nights in early August. The cabin was essentially a tiny house, but it had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a full kitchen and large bathroom. There was a grill outside in the semi enclosed yard. It was a super place for our base camp to explore Colorado and New Mexico. Easy access to numerous day trips. Very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay which was originally planned for two nights, but we were lucky enough to be able to extend it. We’re hoping to go back.

Excellent place to take kids to relax, they are dog friendly, and so many places to explore near by.
