This is by far the best campsite on PEI... stayed 3 separate times... One could spend an entire PEI vacation here - activities, poker nights, karaoke, golf cart rentals, an awesome beach facing the North Shore... a restaurant, coffee shop, dairy bar... Tennis courts, canasta, shuffleboard... The price is the most expensive I have ever paid (90 a night and coin op showers ) but I didn't mind because of the incredible value and idyllic atmosphere... What I can say as a personal thing is it is more tailored to families with young children than the parry-all-night crowd, but it is very honest and upfront about that and I didn't feel excluded from the environment even though most of the activities were for kids... I would not change a single thing if I owned the place or was asked to manage it...

If you have a service dog, I do not recommend staying at Twin Shores at least not until the staff receive proper education. The staff here are very uneducated about service dog laws and were quite rude when addressing accessibility concerns. My service dog and I experienced multiple issues that made our stay stressful and unwelcoming. It’s unfortunate because I’m 15 and just trying to have a nice vacation , but on the bright side the site itself is beautiful, the beach is lovely, and the food is good but the lack of accessibility and understanding around service animals overshadows all of that. I’ve already emailed the owner and even created a slideshow to help educate staff, and I truly hope change will happen. I will be returning next year in hopes of a better stay, but for now I cannot recommend this campground to anyone with a service animal.

Generally a nice place. The beach is nice and clean. They have a lot of amenities on site for families, which is great. The reason for the 3 stars is related to the lack of hot water in the showers and the lack of enforcement of any kind of noise control at night. We’re in a tent and it’s now almost 11:30pm and the neighbour’s loud outdoor movie presentation just ended. That seems to be a nightly occurrence. Sigh… Also, for those in tents, be prepared to wait in line to use the bathroom in the morning. There’s only 1 toilet for men and there’s usually a line.

My family and I had a great time, wonderful experience at this park. Beach was awesome everywhere clean and tidy. All the games and entertainment was great. Only thing was I went to surprise my wife with a cold lobster dinner. I went to twins perk cafe to order as per the picture on the website and was advised they were never told the price and to go ask management. Went to ask management and was told they stopped doing that in 2019. The web page might want some updating.

My in-laws recommended we stay at Twin Shores for our trip to PEI. I got the second to last spot available for our travel dates so I knew the place was going to be busy. Even with the amount of other campers, the entire campground felt very comfortable and homey. There were even a few times we ended up on the beach with hardly any people, we loved being able to take an evening walk on the beach. Nothing helped us more than the camp store having extended hours when we arrived our first day, and we took advantage of the food options (also with great hours) since we had to keep the camper clear of most foods when we crossed the border from the US. I think the only downside for us was the lack of bathrooms available on site. Even though we have a small camper, we usually prefer to use the campground bathrooms for showering and toilets. Our site was not exactly close to a bathroom and they were often full of people. Also, just a friendly PSA: you do have to pay for their showers which I am unaccustomed to. But it was not a huge deal for us since we have a tiny shower in our camper we opted to use instead. We will definitely be coming back to Twin Shores for our next trip to PEI
