Twin Spruce RV Park

Overview

Twin Spruce RV Park offers a welcoming retreat nestled within the scenic heights of the Lincoln National Forest. This park is widely recognized for its towering ponderosa pines and crisp mountain air, providing a quintessential Ruidoso experience for travelers. Whether you are arriving for a quick weekend getaway or a long-term seasonal stay, the park balances a peaceful, rustic atmosphere with the modern conveniences necessary for a comfortable visit to the Sierra Blanca mountain range.

Location & Surroundings

Located on the west side of Ruidoso, the park provides a strategic home base that is close to the village center yet feels tucked away from the main road noise. The serene mountain setting is defined by the natural shade of the forest, which keeps the grounds cool even during the peak of summer. Because of the high elevation, visitors often enjoy refreshing temperatures and the frequent sight of local wildlife, including deer and elk, wandering through the park’s wooded landscape.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility is designed to accommodate a variety of rig sizes with full hookup sites that include water, sewer, and both 30 and 50-amp electrical service. Guests benefit from functional amenities such as cable TV and Wi-Fi, allowing for a mix of outdoor living and digital connectivity. The grounds feature well-maintained bathhouses and a laundry facility, ensuring that the practical needs of long-term travelers are met. Most sites are level with gravel pads, and the wide internal roads make navigation simple for larger motorhomes.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure and entertainment are always within reach in this part of New Mexico. Guests are only a short drive from the historic Ruidoso Downs Race Track and the eclectic shops and galleries found in Midtown Ruidoso. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend their days at Grindstone Lake for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing, or head up to Ski Apache for high-altitude recreation. For those seeking indoor entertainment, the nearby Inn of the Mountain Gods offers dining, golf, and casino gaming.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal destination for nature-loving families and couples who want to experience the beauty of the Southwest mountains without sacrificing essential utilities. It is particularly popular with retirees looking for a quiet, cool-weather base to escape the summer heat of the lower deserts. Management went above and beyond for our one night stay! We were passing through and had our propane regulator begin leaking during our drive, meaning we had no heat for the night. Temperatures were 11 degrees the previous morning and the local stores were out of space heaters and electric blankets. The management at twin spruce took a late, Saturday evening call and met us at our camper with a space heater to loan is for the night. We appreciated your hospitality!

We had a great time at twin spruce RV park! Staff was helpful and friendly! Kiddos loved the pool! Even saw some wildlife( 2 deer) early one morning! Location is close to downtown! Reasonable pricing and great atmosphere! Will definitely go back again!
