My boyfriend and I drove from Oakville Ontario to Coquitlam BC to attend an event for my boyfriend's late nephew Michael Cuccione. It was the 30th Annual cancer fundraiser gala. We needed a place to camp for the weekend and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful campground. While we were having a coffee and searching Google for a place close by, we noticed an advertising placemats on our table had an ad for Tynehead RV Campground. I called and spoke to the owner, he gave us the price which was considerably lower than the other places we called, and he told us we could register at 4 pm. We were greeted by a lovely lady named Netty. She showed us around, assisted with our booking, showed us our options of sites and went above and beyond to help us. We needed an extension cord because we forgot to bring one so she made a call and had her husband bring one from their own home. She had heard about the Gala on TV and extended her condolences. She was such a lovely lady, we chatted a few times during our stay, she made us feel like family. The campground was lovely, even at the end of September. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well supplied with toiletries. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice campground to give it a try. You won't regret it.

The lady at the desk was nice, but the place is full of garbage. We slept in the "tent" field it was full of broken glasses. It felt a bit abandonned. Didn't feel very safe

I recently visited this RV camp and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The owner was consistently rude and unresponsive to my inquiries. Their lack of professionalism and poor communication skills made my stay very disappointing. I would not recommend this camp to others due to the owner's disrespectful behaviour towards customers

The best thing about this place was how QUIET it was there. Second best, the super nice lady that checked me in. Third best, cheap ($1) hot showers that are more than long enough. I would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I have for the management is to get their pool fixed up and open and to get rid of the destroyed RVs that were on the property.
