Stayed at the RV Campground while we took a couple days to visit the US Space & Rocket Center. RV campground was small, quiet and had nice bathroom & shower facilities. The Space & Rocket Center was great! I could of spent more days there. The planetarium was also worth going to.

Nice campground with electric and water hookups at each site. Inexpensive as well! The campsites on the south and east ends are nicely shaded; the central and north sites are full sun. The SE corner is the lowest, and probably would flood if there were a lot of rain. Bathrooms clean with 2 showers each. Short walk to the museum. Some potholes on the road, but hey, it’s a campground, not a resort or 5 star hotel.

We had site 4, it is paved and mostly level, we easily fit our 33ft fifthwheel and truck in the spot. Space center is great and downtown is just a few minutes away to walk the park and shops. We had full connections but our site (30A) did have a 10A breaker running the 30A plug, luckily our RV is very light on electricity so we had no issues.

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center RV Campground is a small campground with full hook ups at a great location with an even better price of $30 a night for a back in spot. The sites were spacious and included a picnic table and a small grill. There was a shower house /bathroom on site. The bathroom featured three bathroom stalls and two showers. The bathrooms were especially clean and well maintained!! I love that there was a lock code to get in the bathrooms it made me feel safe. There are about 30 sites at the whole campground. There isn’t any trails to walk your dogs but there is tons of grass area and many sidewalks with limited traffic to walk your dogs on. We loved how we were only a few minutes from downtown Huntsville and basically close to everything. The campground is within earshot of a highway so we did get a lot of highway noise but it wasn’t bad, just figured I would mention that for those who are light sleepers. Overall, we enjoyed this campground and it served as the perfect spot to get to all of Huntsville’s amazing amenities quickly.

Decent price for full hook-ups and nights are quiet (but it's not full right now). Roads could use some TLC. Easy to get to, easy to pull in.
