The pictures of the campground spots on the spb (not even attached to the actual campground btw AND no bathroom or anything) are super misleading online. Me and my friend got there and laughed at how bad it was and how much of a ripoff it was (76 dollars). Sleeping in a random parking lot wherever else would’ve been nicer. In addition, the overflow camp ground is better for sure but apparently we’d have to pay on top the 76 dollars (even though overflow is cheaper) another 30??? Make it make sense. The younger front desk guy also agreed that the spb campground was worse than the cheaper overflow one. We would’ve never booked it if we first saw how it ACTUALLY looked like. They only took pictures of the view of the water but fail to mention how it looks like on the opposite side

We stayed here for 1 night in March while touring the island. Found the campground to be super tidy and clean. Washrooms were immaculate. We didn’t really get chance to interact with any staff members during our brief stay but the whole booking process was simple. We had a serviced site overlooking the harbour , which did feel a little more like a gravel parking lot than a campground but we had a fantastic view in the morning. (After a walk around the campground, we did see that they have plenty of prettier sites with the usual trees, grass etc but less of a view so we were happy where we were!) Super quiet (although that was probably more because of the time of year!) - the only noise we heard were some slightly boisterous sea lions partying in the middle of the night!

This campground was pretty decent. It had good signal, clean washroom and showers (hot showers included) and staff were nice. They are strict on leaving food on the campsite so make sure you properly store your food away from the bears. Our camp area was woody so it got cold at night so bring sweaters and jacket!

It was my first camping experience. Our spot was very cozy. Quiet hours were strictly observed, but it didn’t mean you couldn’t talk at all. The showers and washrooms were cleaned daily. It was also a very convenient spot for buying groceries.

When they say quiet time starts at 10:30 - it's actually quiet before that. The guests took it seriously. The guests also started their engines early.. I guess most were surfers. The facilities were great. I would come back.

Extremely friendly staff. The one employee gave us a power converter to use for our stay. He was great. Super happy n helpful. The washrooms are top notch. Super clean and looked brand new. Plenty of hot water. Beautiful Harbour. Close enough to walk to whatever you need to go to. 12/10 recommend

Great little campground to stay at. They have very reasonable winter long-term rates. The staff are super friendly and outgoing. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting you the Pacific rim with a camper.

Was quite nice with the new bathrooms installed. The forested tent areas were very nice and private. Plus it’s a great location in Ucluelet

Pretty good. Nice spots overlooking the water. Staff are a but inconsistent with rules around leaving stuff out. But overall great value and nice and central to walk into town.

Had a nice view. Washrooms are under construction but portable washrooms and sinks with running were setup. Portable washrooms were well maintained. Portable showers with hot water were setup within were really nice. Will be even better when the washroom renovations are complete. Looking forward to staying here again.
