Beautiful area that is not far from SLC. However $34 a night for a single site with no power is a bit high. The site said eater was not available so filled my takes before but they did have it. The pro is a dump station is available and was free with a token from camp host let you dump on the way out. What becomes a deal breaker is the road noise. You can see it from many of the camp sites and hear it in every site. What made it tolerable was wildlife a moose and baby, woodpecker, blue jay along with an awsome hiking trail was well marked with exception of some of the dead wood that was being cleared.

Pros: Beautiful campground; nice fire rings and tables. Host was wonderful. Cons: Yellowjackets were horrible when we were here in August, as were the gypsy moths. We were on the side of the campground closest to the highway and the road noise was very loud. Semi trucks going past constantly. Only one bathroom and water source working on the weekend; none during the week. All other bathrooms have porta potties. Plan to bring all the water you will need. Overall we had a nice time, but it would have been SO much better without the swarms of yellowjackets.

Clean, well-maintained and beautiful campground. The only thing that was a challenge was the proximity to the highway because of noise but it wasn't that bad (there were plenty of spots further away). Great safe fire pit and nice somewhat private camp sites. Our kids and dog loved it. Campground features amazing and serene 4 mile trail hike through Uinta National Forest. The campground is also 20 minutes from Deer Creek Park where my kids played in the water for an entire day. Campgrounds are very safe - we secured everything for an entire day and everything we left was just the same when we returned. Very kind management of this site as well. We will definitely visit again!

We stopped here for the public RV dump station in a very convenient location. Easy in/out from the Hwy. The dump station is just at entrance and easy to turn into for big RV. There is a charge of $10 for dump, $10 for water, or $10 for both. Make sure to pay so these dump stations continue to be available for us boondockers! We also used the trash cans so we left a little extra. The campground itself is paved with wide turns and looks very accessible for large RVs.

Beautiful area with large gorgeous campsites. There is cell service in places here too which is helpful. Low review because we paid much higher camp fees than other sites because of the many flush toilets they advertise. Staying here right now and the toilets are not working. They replaced an area that normally has 6 flush toilet bathrooms with ONE honey bucket portable for everyone in campground to share! It’s been AWFUL. Also it is right next to the highway and you hear the traffic day and night.

The camp sites are exquisite, paved, flat, with excellent tables and fire pits. Plenty of trees, lots of shade. The host was extremely friendly and happy to help in any way. Note: the restrooms are very clean but be aware there are no lights. The campground is close to US 40 which produces a lot of noise specifically early in the morning.

Awesome campground. We were in spot #2 Loop A and it was a nice site. Everything seems newer here from the concrete to tables etc. Traffic noise was present as they said, but you could easily tune it out. There is a decent set of marked hiking trails around, which was way cool. Amy the camp host was awesome and did a great job. The bathrooms were amazingly clean.

We had a great time our stay at Lodgepole loop A. Amy was great! Her hospitality was awesome! The campground was clean and well taken care of. The vegetation along the side of the road was trimmed nicely, and the bathrooms were cleaner than I had seen them in the years I have been camping there! We will definitely be back.
